Several new regions of Mediterranean homes were just released so perhaps you could find two next to each other and put in tickets to request them.

PC, Windows 11, Chrome browser and Firestorm 7.1.9 - I used the link on the page where I claimed the homes, but didn't notice if it was the same as the location where I ended up which was the center of the region in 5 different LH themes.

I was just hopping around on an expiring alt and had the same thing happen at 5 different houses in 5 different themes. I always landed in the center of the region not at the house, it must be a glitch in the system. Since I was using Firestorm I used the map to click around on all the houses until I found the one I named, but Lyric's solution above sounds better.

Inconvenient truth - By putting two or three people on your ignore list you can read through a thread much faster!

After reading all the wailing and gnashing of teeth here on the forums about how horrible PBR is I had to download it to see. Guess I am one of the masochists too But I was pleasantly surprised by how good things looked when I logged in with the updated Firestorm viewer. My old favorite EEP setting, one I purchased a while ago on MP, did not look as beautiful as it did before PBR but still usable, and the midday setting was much better. I did redo some of my preferences and got much better FPS by unchecking the box for mirrors and reflective stuff and turning off shadows, which I always do anyway. My computer is not a laptop but a few years old, not top of the line but not a potato either and it didn't seem to run much hotter than usual. Things rezzed a bit slower than before but not as long as expected from what I had been reading. Do not believe all the negativity on the forums and groups - and adjust your settings!

Not a technical person here, but it looks like you have mirrors turned on - from what I have read, I thought that really affects performance.

I hope the paranoid OP realizes that LL has to follow some laws from RL - so I would suggest they read this article that someone previously posted a link to in a former thread - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_2025 Make sure you scroll down the page to the part about Outlawing Pornography and then maybe rethink where you put some of the blame for the way things are going.

Please tell us what other game or world out there has as much content for landscaping as well as avatar customization - like the landforms, rivers and waterfalls from Skye, the trees and grasses from HPMD and the flowers from Konoha. If you are not familiar with those stores than perhaps you are not aware of the wide variety of content available in SL, and not just for avatars!

Why can't you make yourself taller? You really cannot claim it is because you want "realistic" proportions, so that only leaves someone to wonder why being short is so important to you. Though it does give you something to be a drama queen/attention whore about.

I think this thread is a good idea, so far anyway, because it allows people to say what features brought them to their opinion. That would be more helpful to people trying to create an avatar that looks like an adult instead of an underage teen.

To answer the OP - your skinny shapeless legs and lack of hips do contribute to a pre-pubescent look, but the broadness of your shoulders and shape of your face look more adult. If it were not for those shoulders and head I would say you look like a twelve year old boy with giant boobs stuck on. But in my opinion that head could save you, it looks quite a bit more adult than many of the newer mesh head and skin combinations - it does not appear to have the pointy chin and big eyes of the more childlike heads. However - if you are choosing to be short in order to appeal to the desire of guys to infantilize women, then yeah - maybe you do have something to worry about. BTW- it is not a "war on child avatars" - depictions of children or childlike avatars in sexual situations are against the law in the US where LL is located. Stop it with the hyperbole and trolling.

Maybe if you really want to get the thread going you need to mention that according to the new TOS from LL those rectangular boxes can only be called security orbs if they are wearing the correct modesty panel.

Apparently people are far more interested in debating off-topic issues than thinking about the legalities of child pornography on SL.

If you bothered to look at the links you would see that in the US federal law says that child pornography is obscene. And gives more details than I thought should be included here.

Not sure what the problem with a modesty layer that is baked into a skin for child avatars. If they have outfits that will not cover it, then perhaps those outfits are not suitable for children to be wearing. The people with children avatars have chosen to play children and like RL, children do not have all the same rights that adults have. Children do have to put up with adults making decisions and setting limits for them. It is great that LL is finally banning children avatars from adult rated areas - allowing child presenting avatars in adult areas was putting out a welcome mat for AP and pedophiles. An apology and explanation to the innocent child avatars on why your presence is disturbing to some SL residents - The presence of children and sexualization of young teens on a platform best known for adult activities can be a disturbing and even triggering event for some people.
