A clear statement on the status page that the grid was down would have saved me a lot of fiddling.

I wasnt having failed teleports or horrible lag.  Everything was working fine.  Then it just winked out from one moment to the next.

I knew there was maintenance, but it *would* have been nice to have a warning that the whole grid was about to go down!!!
