Right clicking on my desktop doesn't open the Radeon settings. Maybe it's different on a Mac.

I tried it at 4x and still had some (lesser) jagged lines.

The biggest thing I notice when at 2x is that the lines on the wall of the conservatory in the background are jagged. They are straight in the photo above which is at 8x. See this one at 2x.

So, changed AA to x8 in the viewer (still looking for gnu control panel) and restarted FS. Def looks improved. (And, didn't kill my fps.)

Okay. I got a new iMac with a Radeon 560. Firestorm w AA set to x2 (still had 32fps at mid-level settings and most graphics boxes checked). Looks like I need to up the AA setting...have to figure out how to tell the gnu to let FS control it...have to find that control panel (if anyone knows, please tell).

What specs would be better for an iMac to increase SL performance? I'm thinking of getting an iMac for my home office and am not so happy running SL on my Macbook Air.

I want a love button. Like is not enough sometimes.

Will AMD work with opengl?

I don't want to derail the thread into a tech discussion. But, if anyone on here has experience with adding a graphics card to a Macbook, please message me. Thinking about getting an external card but have been reading that Firestorm doesn't play well with AMD cards and was thinking of getting a Radeon card.

Am thinking of getting a Radeon RX 570 to plug into a Macbook via an external box. But, I"ve heard the AMD cards don't work well with Firestorm or SL. Is that right? Any workarounds that aren't too complicated and risky or advice about Mac-friendly video cards to improve SL performance?
