  1. Coffee Pancake I never said everything or anything was just for me. I posted an opinion about this topic just like you did but I didn't try to take anyone's personal words out of context nor was I rude. I don't see this thread as a contest: Whoever gets the most disagreeable replies and laugh emojis loses. I merely stated my thoughts, tried to clarify when you questioned them, I don't care to discuss the matter further. An adult region that may or may not happen, isn't on my list of things to think about in the New Year. But what's the point of these threads if an individual, that you don't even know, can't speak their minds without others being disrespectful. Have a Happy New Year.
  2. "Deny me access to their homes like everywhere else." Like every other LH region we have now. "Adult" behavior is really not an issue unless one steps out of those barriers. As I said and as you just proved my point, to have an Adult Region would be a moot point.
  3. It would be a moot point. Although the LH communities were set up in moderate regions, people still push the envelope with "Adult" decor inside and out and with their behavior or dress. Now, I personally prefer a more family friendly atmosphere but derendering and ignoring are useful tools. I do have both child avatars and adult avatars that occupy my linden home. I appreciate the community spirit that I believe have brought us all together in SL through Linden Homes instead of dividing us. I wouldn't appreciate the regions being divided and being told "Sorry, you can't go to that neighborhood because you have a child avatar on." I understand that this happens in privately owned regions for various reasons. But I believe as a Premium Member, wherein access to linden home regions is a perk of the money we spend on said membership, I have a right to enter all regions regardless of my avatar and the drama of segregating regions would create unnecessary drama and dissension.
  4. It's very nice of you to care. It makes me sad even when I see virtual animals in need but you can't do anything for these dogs. Only the owners can and they aren't actually suffering in any way. Have a happy day
  5. Very nice! I always wanted to know what a Mole Elf looked like Merry Christmas to you!
  6. I've enjoyed all the themes and this one looks great too. I also wish Linden Labs would consider taking the time to upgrade the first traditional themed homes they did with some of the perks the newer homes have. Getting to paint each room separately and create one's own colors, etc. I also still don't understand why the Trailer homes don't come with as many prims as the other homes. Not that I would need that many in such a tiny area but I do enjoy putting up a skybox.
  7. I do find Second Life contests frustrating and I'm sure they're not easy to judge either. Especially when only one prize is being awarded. We pride ourselves in SL on art. Whether it's clothing design, building, photography, music/dance, etc. We are proud of the creation and creators that come of this virtual world. The problem is, not all of us in SL are professionals; we don't all have the best systems for taking photos, we don't all have the best building skills, we don't all have money or know how for special programs that make our creations look better but we still enjoy creating. I'm not going to argue rather the winner should have won or not. Their entry was phenomenal! I entered, it was fun, I didn't win... I'm fine. I was however disappointed because, just like everyone who entered, I put a lot of thought, creativity and fun into my entry and I was naive in thinking I might have a chance to win, as it wasn't a photo contest, but I didn't take into account that a professional creator would build their own costume and of course, how could that compare to mine? Again, I appreciate that kind of talent. I only feel, as some others have pointed out, that there might be more than one kind winner. It's not about the prize or the loss thereof it's about...What is the point or the fun of entering any contest if a professional is always going to win?
  8. He was very nice to me! He gave me a special bear and took our picture together He's not mean to kids at all and he didn't try to take any of my candy ❤️ I think Mr. Slender is misunderstood.
