Siouxie Connors here. I've been in SL for nearly 6 months now (I was persuaded to come here to DJ by my SL Partner). I've been DJing here more or less since day 1 of arrival, and was pleased to get selected to play at the SL16 Birthday Bash, and the upcoming Rock Your Rack event to raise funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. I'm a co-owner of the Matrix of Musick SIM (https://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/White%20Bay/192/45/24 ) which contains our Club ||THE SOURCE||, and just this last weekend we held our own charity event (with the assistance of TDDI Productions) to raise money for the Suicide Prevention Awareness Lifeline. We have a multitude of fun activities, including the club, an outdoor concert area, a fun fairgrounds area with free rides and games that award prizes, a game room with playable arcade and table games, a planetarium, and you can visit the Moon. Our latest most recent updates to the SIM are a roof pool area and a bowling alley - we like to try to make it FUN! In addition, my SL partner and I run an internet radio station broadcasting 24/7 from our club. You can check it out on http://XRadio.Zone. I'm here for the fun and the music, and we tried to build our SIM to reflect that. I have a total dislike of any unnecessary drama and a total acceptance of people from all walks of life provided they aren't douches and don't do the drama thing! New friends are always welcomed (within those constraints, and provided they actually want to be friends and aren't looking for "more than that" uninvited!!)

Greetings and Salutations! National Suicide Prevention Week is September 8-14, 2019 and XRadio and |THE SOURCE| are hosting a benefit concert to raise money and awareness for the prevention of suicide. ALL donations will go to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (1-800-273-TALK)! The event begins at 4PM Pacific time with a Nirvana tribute band by TDDI Productions. Sadly, we lost one of the greatest frontmen of all time when Kurt Cobain died in 1994 when he took his own life. Expect great songs from Nirvana classics like Smells Like Teen Spirit, Heart-Shaped Box, and More! After that at around 5:30, DJ Siouxie will keep the entertainment going with a set of rock, mashups, and remixes before our second band takes the stage. As usual, Siouxie will show us why she is the Goddess of Mashups! Our second band hits the stage around 7PM Pacific time. TDDI Productions presents a Linkin Park tribute concert. Expect all the hits and great fun at this amazing tribute concert! DJ Jude takes over the entertainment after the Linkin Park concert. As always, he will spin famous Rock/Rap/Rave/Remixes to close out this great event properly! So come out to the Anderson Park Concert Plaza in the Matrix of Musick Construct in Second Life to support a great cause and have a great time while doing so! All in all, there will be over six hours of music with ALL Donations going to support a great cause! Mark your calendars and TP your friends!

The wide variety of instruments certainly create a unique sound that can only be Radiohead. Do plan on hearing those songs that have led Radiohead to fame including Fake Plastic Trees, Karma Police and Creep. Come on down and see some old friends and meet some new ones at The Source. Afterwards, DJ Siouxie and DJ Jude spin the tunes!

The who? You mean Siouxsie from Siouxsie and the Banshees? Who has now also now been a DJ playing different genres? I only took the name because it's actually my name just spelled differently, and because I like her music. I cover many genres in my sets - some are mixes/mashups (I've been dubbed "the Queen of Mashups" by a couple of other DJs in SL), some are pure 80's sets, some are pure rock sets - about the only thing I don't play is country
