I have no opinion about the interface in the new viewer. Nor do I have experience with this pop-up window. But I do know that if 2 people had an issue with it there are bound to be many, many more. Not everyone is comfortable posting on a forum, and many inworld residents are unaware of the website and forum. But you keep bringing up the idea that it must not be a problem because only 2 people complained. This is not the evidence you believe it is. A good interface has everything to do with the empathy inherent in the designer of an interface, or with the ability of the designer to work with others who embody such empathy and make appropriate changes. I never said all prejudice could be removed, but with focused effort there is the possibility of understanding the new user experience to a great degree. It's what all good teachers do in order to teach children at the level they are at, but like I said, it takes effort and is never perfect.

First you thought I was Arielle, and now Luna. Did you know it's against the rules to out people's alts here? Don't worry, I will not report you, but you should know you are breaking the rules. It takes more than a high IQ to create an interface though. It takes empathy and and a more fluid mind that can go back and experience what it was like to be new. You don't have that. Someone like a good roleplayer, actress, mother, or teacher would fit the bill. Too many interfaces are created by scripters.

Short attention span? Gotcha. A lot of people have trouble focusing. Short attention span? Hardly. I have a high IQ and a sharp mind, if I don't say so myself. If it took an entire 3 minutes to close a window there would be gross inefficiency in the instructional method. You did make me wonder something via claiming I have a defective mind, and that is, could it be something is wrong with your mind in that it took you 3 minutes to close a window? It appears I need to make an alt and check out this new user experience for myself.

Two or three minutes to close a window? That's a crazy amount of time. Instructional aspects of the game should be as simple as possible. I'd leave a game in only one minute if I couldn't close a simple window.
