Why don't they just reestablish the old system with the regional spawn points? Many of my older friends in SL tell me that spawn points groups, Like the German Newbie Center, the New Citizens Incorporated and others still exist. In former times, new arrivals were sent to those locations, and the community itself took care of them. Surely, not a uniform experience. But you could send them there after the initial education in how to move and so on. The groups are there, the people are there , the locations are still mostly there. How hard can it be to put up a TP gate at spawn with a geolocation connected teleporter? Likewise there are plenty of lovely places, Towns on Sansara, entire Gaming areas. They are still advertised in old parts of the system, still there ,still work, but heck when you ever see somebody there. Put up a standardized TP gate and a comprehensive area with further TP interconnects to get newbies to explore those places. Just a month ago I was playing Great Giana Sisters / Super Mario, being the character myself in the way of making my way through the parcour. It was hilarious! Also, back with Viewer 1.23 I got shown SL in Anaglyph 3D . Whilst color-distorted, that, too, was absolute awesomeness. The game uses OpenGL, so it should be easy to implement any other 3D system atop the games own engine.

Addendum: Can't be an incomplete profile either. SL account information says my account is to 100% filled in, so there can't really be anything left to fill in.

For me Skrill stopped working, too. Similarly, the email to Skrill gave that, on their side, all is fine. With me I could understand, to a degree, getting my Skrill account blacklisted. I log in mostly just to boost L$ to a few friends, as I myself mostly do then and when a scenery photo session. So, the money is mostly for my friends to staff themselves with suitable avatars and to scout for locations. for me. But a photosession takes, like, an hour once a month, and then I am several weekends busy postprocessing and gimping the pictures. But what should I do then? Create a new skrill account, use that until its blocked? Or even full SL twinking? For my usage of SL i really do not need any equipment on my avatar. Only my hardware. Considering I have a fully registered email server, I can create a few thousand email addresses. It seems rather counterproductive to have to go to such lengths just to allow somebody to buy a forest elf costume to enable me to take a bunch of high res LotR inspired photos.
