    I agree so much. Outside of actually carrying on a conversation, profile snooping will tell you so much more about a person than how well or unwell their avatar looks. That's why I don't judge based on avatars. As far as I know my future best friend could be wearing a newb avi! Profiles can tell you so much about a person's interests, hobbies, and sometimes their lives (RL or SL or both) and even their temperaments, as I've come across some angrily worded profiles before. How someone can so clearly manage to sound so angry in so many words is kind of impressive though, not going to lie. Profiles give you an inkling who you might click with, who you might want to avoid...but in the end only getting to know a person will let you know for sure if they are a positive in your life. You have to put yourself out there, and you might end up getting hurt, but normally it comes with a lesson or two. And, I will say this, trolls not withstanding, most of the cruelest people I've met on Second Life have been some of the prettiest aesthetically. Just sayin'.

    One thing to remember is the heads are partially modify not full modify like our Classic avatar is.  So, look at some pre-made shapes for any head you might like.  Buying a head with a large amount of shapes available could mean it's a head that will give a wide variety of looks.

     

    This. I went through three heads from three very popular brands. Couldn't seem to get them to the point I was satisfied/they had no good shapes/their huds were lacking. Then I found my head and I've never been happier.

    Whatever you do, OP: DEMO DEMO DEMO and search around for shapes too. Like Fairre said, it indicates it can give you a variety of looks and therefore more mileage in the long run.

    I have a specific style I'm trying to emulate inside. A kawaii/Kpop-inspired type look. I've included some pictures of a tiny place that has a style similar to what I like. (I can also take you to the inworld place to get an even bigger picture of the style.)  For the outside I want pretty standard with a fence, walkway and shrubbery, a gated pool, nothing really that unique. I'm not looking for a rushed, I'll your asking price and I want you to take your time crafting something awesome that I'll love to spend time at and will scream me. You don't have to get it all done in one day, I understand real life comes first. We can discuss all of that later. I'll need you to help me find proper items to go in the home!! The home I have is on the larger size. It's the North Yarrow House from ROOST. All of this I would like you to position and set up properly so it looks nice. You should have more than enough prims. I'm moving land in about a week (when I would like to start this job officially, I'm just searching early) and the piece of land I have my eye on right now has just a little under 1,000 prims, but if I don't get that land I'll aim for one similar. Needless to say you should most likely have more than enough prims to work with if you accept this job. 

    If you prefer to work this out over Discord that's fine with me, it may be easier but isn't necessary I guess. 

    I would prefer if you told me what your estimated price is and we'll start from there. 

    Please have pictures to share of past work.

    Tattoos and You

    I used to love tattoos in real. So much so that in the course of one year I got three. Luckily they were small but I still regret them because I was one of those impulsive people who didn't sit and think it over well enough. Tattoos are nice, and often beautiful on other people but I no longer want any on my own body and am actively saving up for removal. In Second Life I don't have any tattoos even though they aren't nearly as permanent 😉 

    My thoughts on tattoos summed up: Beautiful pieces of art...on someone else.

    I'm not one to change my avatar a lot. Be it the actual looks of it or clothes. I was wearing my previous clothes for about a year. This is why I only have like three full outfits in my inventory. Having said that, the itch came to look different, so I drastically changed my avatar. See you guys in this thread in another year lmao

    You sound like someone I could get along with and we seem to have a lot in common, and I'll chill with you while you sort your inventory too, but that's something I never have to do because my inventory is pathetically almost barren 😅

    Omg I didn't realize there was a hands alpha! I just clicked all because the diagram didn't show hands so foolishly I assumed it wasn't an option. I just logged in to check to see if I'm that big of a dumb *** and yep, I totally am.

    Typically, no. In fact, the only time I speak in RL about online social games is when something really, really funny/interesting happens. For example; when I used to play vrchat religiously and got "kidnapped" by somewhere wearing a Uganda Knuckles avatar and was taken to an amusement park where be bought me cotton candy and then took me to the vrchat courthouse to sign adoption papers. That was...something. Needless to say if something that tier happens on SL I tell people about it.

    Needed to explain the lack of hands lol

    The human form of my dragon, Eclipse. 

    She purposely has no sense of style and is dressed messily because she's a dragon masquerading as a human, silly!

    Also for some reason my bento hands keep are invisible but that's okay because it kind of suits Eclipse's sloppy style like she wears clothes 2x too big and her hands disappear into the fabric.
