I've been all over what I know of the SL Dashboard and cannot find where I can upgrade my Region for more prims (I think you can do that), and upgrade a Homestead to a full region.  Who do I contact and how?  You'd think when I want to give LL more money it would be easy to find, but I am old so it could be right in front of me next to my glasses, and the TV remote.

This has been bugging me for some time.   My house sits on Piers and the lighting from the house "bleeds" through the floor and lights the area under the house.  At night, this area should be dark, and in the day time, in shadow.  I tired making a prim but that does not block the light either. I "show hidden" to see if there is a rogue light somewhere that needs to be deleted but I can't find one. 

So, any other suggestions on how to fixt his annoying issue?

[A question for RL Professional DJs]

With that always in the back of my mind I have been playing music in SL for a while and I am ready to move up to getting an actual controller and putting decent (beat or key matched) sets together that are more polished and step it up a notch or two.  So I have some questions about streaming music, up loading sets to MixCloud or SoundCloud, and where to get music that is legal to do both.  I have VDJ and am planning on getting a DDJ-400 which will come bundled with Rekordbox (My mind is set on this so let's not discuss hardware). 

So my questions is, Where do you get your music licensed restreaming and uploading to Mixcloud?  I've looked at Beatport but they don't have music like Punk, Rock-a-Billy, Outlaw Country, and other genres that are not EDM. Any other options out there? I know some DJs get their music from Bandcamp but I don't see a re-streaming account. How does all of that work? 

Do you stream in SL directly from VDJ, or Rekordbox or do I need an interface?

[my AO's wont work!]

Same here starting today, Feb 17, 2021; A friend had some issues at a sim crossing while riding horses on my own land. I got off my horse and on hers but it was not moving. My AO stopped working but we eventually got the horse moving again.  

- Running scripts are enabled for everyone on both sims

- I have not added, nor deleted any thing to the original AO

- I logged off and rebooted the computer. Ok, I had a power failure so I had to shut it all down under UPS power but this issues started happening prior to the power outage. 

- I ran a 'reset all scripts' in edit

- I unboxed and re-attached a new copy of the AO. 

the AO just stopped working. All other animations, furniture, dancing, horseback riding, work just fine. Just my AO stopped working.  Is there a toggle or something to ignore AO?

Fixed, found a "reset" button burred in one of the pull down menus. 

[Mesh import file formats ?]

Hello, 

I work in a 3d Software called Revit by AutoDesk.  From what I read, the file format to import a mesh into SL is .DAE .  Revit cannot export to .DAE.   Does anyone know the process I would need to take a mesh object from an AudoDesk format A to [Software?] format B then Export B to DAE to import into SL?    I am not talking complex objects here. Just a floor and a backsplash.

Now that I am using BOM, how do I take my old personally made tattoo image (png) and convert it to a tattoo layer that I can just add without the use of an applier?

the most annoying thing for me in SL is hitting the "e" key when not in a text chat causes my avatar to jump.  I have looked within Firestorm and cannot find a place to remove that hot key. So I went and found the Keys.xml, and another keys xml file and edited them. But the "e" key is still locked to make my avatar jump.  How can I change/remove that?

[Notice cap vs. Auto Delete]

I don't know, I haven't found it if it exists but instead of capping messages, can you have a setting saying to auto-delete notices more than a day old? IMs will be there in the conversation window but if I go away for the weekend and come home Sunday afternoon. I don't care what happened Saturday, I want to know what's going on Sunday.  But more often than not, my messages were capped sometime Saturday afternoon.  So please make this a setting if it's not already.

@CoffeeDujour  O.o... all of that is WAY over my head (probably obvious), no clue what your talking about with your recommendations.  But I like BFA, it's the first expansion since Vanilla where I got the Ambassador Achievement. And yes, I have run Wow quests while dancing, listening to music, and chatting in an SL club. But I digress and this is off topic. I'll look for ya in world and would love to pick your brain about your other response.

Thank you, I bought it because I wanted to run SL (and WoW) lag free and at 100% graphics level, and there is one club I go to that regularly crashes my old system at even the lowest of graphic settings so it was worth it.

[Set SL Sun to follow RL Sun?]

Hello, 

I can set the sky to different setting using the Sky tab, and a friend gave me this macro /*sky: Sky@1-2500:"NAME OF SKY SETTING" */  to add to my Land/General tab. But I would like to know if it would be possible to have the sun track with the RL sun?  I know SL hour is like .25 RL hour(?) but i'd like to log into my region at sunrise and see the sun rise.

Just bought this full region two days ago and am getting it set up.  I can share the LM with friends, which works fine, but when I offer a TP, or they request a TP, neither works.  What setting am I missing?

[Private Island Ownership Questions]

I am about to pull the trigger on purchasing a full private island (20k prim one) and have a couple of general questions. 

1. Is the monthly tier bundled with my monthly full member payment? 

2. Can I pick where my island is located? I'd like to put it next to a friend's sim if there is room.

2a. If I can, how do I find out/tell SL where I want my Island?
