this may be a bit late but, to answer this question, it is possible to get a sound notification every time a post is make in local, but this does include all console messages as well. Go to preferences in firestorm then to chat, Then to Keyword alerts,next enable keyword alerts, then, enable look in Local, now go down to the now unlocked text box and simply put a space in it, then go down to play alert sound, Check it and hit "OK" and now you will get a sound alert every time something posts in general!
