omg, the landscaping is gorgeous! It is going to take a lot of willpower from buying another 512sqm to hold off from getting one of these, I love camping! Why do you do this to me moles?!? I may not get one of these homes, because I am already at my max for land holdings, but I imagine I will be doing a lot of bicycling through the neighborhoods.. and this is going to be awesome for horse riders 😍

Sure, you and others are welcome anytime The gun I have came with an outfit, sold by Anna Erotica, it is called ASP. I'm not really sure about other guns it gets complicated because there are a few different systems out there, that use special HUDs. I think I have a few free guns on me though, that came with another zombie rezzer. I've been looking all over the place for a sword that will work with SL combat and haven't had any luck. Just send me an IM if you ever want to kill a few zombies If I don't respond right away, I'm likely AFK while watching TV or doing other chores.

I swear, my memory is absolutely horrible. I just abandoned land a few days ago and thought I only clicked the abandon button and it all went away. I think I was just really excited about getting my new parcel and rushed through the process without taking note. So since then, I've been worried that just pushing the abandon button would do it with no confirmation. 🤣 Thank you both, I know it is silly but it really was kind of scaring me every time I opened the about land window. This actually helps out a lot.

Yay! I love picture threads I just purchased a parcel of mainland that I am really happy with, I have been using a lot of Anna Erotica furniture, because I really like her style. It is simple, has a low land impact, and is very affordable. Here I am sitting in my castle I need to adjust my avatar height. The theme for this castle is scifi, mixed with fantasy. Outside of it I have a few droids that secure the castle, water the garden, and sweep the streets. Here is the castle from a distance. I have another castle below this castle 🤣 This one is being furnished with more traditional furniture, it is mostly barebones right now. And then on my ground level I have a tavern along with a small forest I also have a zombie rezzer, that terrorizes the locals. The tavern is mostly furnished inside, using medieval furniture.. And lastly the front gates leading into my home I'm so used to working with only 175 LI, that I am finding I have a ton of space left. I even have another skybox, with yet another small forest in it. I just started building it a few days ago, I have a lot of work left to do. I'm trying to do it really inexpensively. So far I have met one of my neighbors and she is awesome The area doesn't get very much traffic though, I see a few dots on the mini map every now and then. There is a really cool race track close to me, I wonder if they would let me rez my car and have a go on it.

Oooh I have monopoly homes next to me now 😍 That means soon, all of those homes will have even more landscaping, I can't wait to see what my neighborhood looks like! I also can't wait till they are all moved in to and see all of the new work the new residents do to their yards

I often click "About land", to check on my remaining parcel capacity, and I always see the dreaded abandon land button, just sitting there, awaiting for that one slip up to occur 😯 I am terrible when it comes to clicking buttons that were not meant to be clicked, and am afraid that I may one day accidentally hit that button, while navigating menus. So I am hoping there is a way to disable it entirely, I have looked around but haven't found any information regarding it.

I would never pounce you or anyone I'm more so the type that goes into hiding 🤣 I believe stores would look nice, if done properly. They wouldn't have to sell anything, just little shops scattered here and there, book stores, little convenience stores, an antique store just places for people to stop by and visit. Perhaps they could give free items, created by the residents and moles alike. I think it would be amazing to have stories written by the residents at a local book store, along with newsletters. I do realize the constraints for the regions would make it incredibly difficult, I was just letting my imagination get the best of me ⛅

That is a lovely home, I'm glad you were able to save it A fire department would be a fine addition to our amazing continent, I also like the train station idea, plus a few stores scattered here and there, an animal rescue, oh I could go on and on 😍

I bought the Acer AH101, which were on sale at the time. They really are cool, there are no sensors that I had to setup, I just have to walk them around the perimeter I want to play in. The downside is that I need to calibrate them every time I want to use them to walking around. That can be a bit of a pain, because it takes a few tries to set the perimeter up correctly. Other than that I have no real complaints with them. They also fit around my glasses which a big plus. Originally, I thought I wouldn't need my glasses because I am near sighted, it was very strange to see things were a little more blurry with out them, even though the screen is right in front of my face 😂

Congrats on finding one so fast, that is really awesome I'm sticking it out on my parcel, I have grown attached to it, plus it has a lot of sentimental value. I was so excited when I got it, and still feel excited about it. I think I will grow old and retire there, surrounded by a bunch of kittycats 😁 Plus, I'm really happy with my location. There are a ton of rivers near my home, all within walking distance, I think I got really lucky on my first attempt.

I purchased a pair of mixed reality goggles several months ago, and it really is a lot of fun I can even play SL with them, although I keep it in cinematic mode, it is really awesome sitting down in my home, on my virtual couch, surrounded by all of my virtual items, and watching a movie on shared media. I don't have SL set up to where I can walk around my physical room with them, I remain seated, use my keyboard and mouse, and feel around for my drink 🤣 I don't use them as often, because for me, the monitor is just better from a practical standpoint. I can get a lot more accomplished, plus when I need to get up it is not as much of a hassle. Also, for some reason when I use them with firestorm my cursor will at times not line up correctly with the screen, so I have to move it all around correctly to find the invisible spot that will open or close a menu. I'm afraid for now, VR just doesn't perform well enough to give up my traditional screen. I look forward to the day that it does though, where we can simply put on a pair of glasses (or contact lenses) easily swap out of the virtual world, and back in. The goggles are a bit clunky, you don't have a huge range of vision with mine, although it is impressive. I'm glad I bought them, and do find they add a whole new dynamic to computing, I think LL was on to something, I really hope Sansar eventually picks up and does well. SL runs slower with them, mostly because I have to go through an application called "Windows Mixed reality" which then I have to load steam VR through, which opens yet another program VorpX which ultimately makes it possible. As you can see, it gets a bit involving, and having three different programs to play SL takes a little bit to setup, and when I get the mouse glitch, I have to do it all over again. I have tried Sansar with them and it looked amazing. Unfortunately, it was a bit glitchy when I tried it, and I haven't really done much with it yet. Currently my favorite thing to do in VR, is go into a virtual arcade, play a bunch of retro games, and walk (really walk) around, it is so amazing. Edit: Cinematic mode, is like a large screen. I have it set up so that I have to move my eyes around to see everything around me, it also helps out a lot with motion sickness. In cinematic mode, your head movement is not tracked, so the screen stays in one place.. It is huge though! It is so big, I have to move my eyes to see everything. With my system, the FPS slows down, and going full 3d where my head movement dictates what I see, gets a bit nauseating. There is also another option I use, which is like in between both, which helps a bit. Full VR, usually doesn't make me sick, unless the FPS drops down.

🤣 Zombies are too much fun, I can't wait till Halloween to decorate my home, plus I can't wait to see what everyone else does . I look forward to seeing you around, if I don't respond, I'm most likely playing around on my alt, I usually check in every now and then.

I've been neglecting it, because I bought a parcel on the mainland and have been working on my castles, and forest (and zombies🧟‍♂️🧟‍♀️). The parrot can get a bit chatty, but he means well 😁 Edit: Just be careful of the mole worms, they are feisty little things with a temper 😜 They like to steal shoes, and bicycles.

Thank you I forget what my draw distance was I believe it was either 128 or 256 as that is my standard distance. After I made the video, I set it up really high so I could get some long distance shots, and then changed it again. I'm always changing it, depending on where I am located. If I were to guess, I would say probably 128 because a lot of houses in the same region don't display until I get pretty close to them. I also have another viewer running, and was also taking a video, so I probably slid it down pretty far.

One day when my AV is old, I'll be sitting on the front porch of my Linden home, explaining to the youngsters how this area used to be nothing but fields 😂 The Arcadia stuff was way before my time, but I fell in love with it after finding a few of the buildings. There is even a rez box for free on the marketplace that rezzes the whole of slum city, which always fun to spawn in the premium sandbox away from everyone up high. Here I am right now, with my kitty hanging out in it lol. I think this is a bit of SL history I wish I were part of 😃 It would be awesome if they called an area Arcadia bay, although admittedly I had to look up the reference

They've done all sorts of work by my house 😍 It is only Monday, I can't wait to see what more is to come this week. In the below picture, you can see my house 😁, and a ton of new homes spawned as well as more of the path has been completed ❤️ I also found the metro bus, I've been waiting for the bus driver to come back to drive me around.. but I think he is long gone. I love Arcadia stuff, I actually have this bus as well as a taxi, a VW, a few of their buildings 😁 I also wrangled with the worms, to get my bike back (they had taken it, previously) So, I decided to take another video of around the construction area and around my home.

I was just minding my own business, playing around on my land, when a bunch of zombie noobs appeared out of nowhere! 🧟‍♂️ 🤯 I'm sort of a noob as well, I thought we could be friends, but noooo! They ate my alt! I had no choice but to destroy them all, mercilessly. They were no match for my ASP rifle. I really had a lot of fun with this, I splurged a bit on the marketplace today, buying them. I wanted a zombie fighting game, and got one. Otherwise most of the day has been spent building, I purchased a bunch of things from Anna Erotica, including this avatar (and gun). I think shooting zombies was the highlight of it.

I think my visitor was a real estate bot. I tossed him in jail 😃 I instant messaged him, but after there was no response, I pushed him into the next parcel. I feel guilty about it, but I'm sure he won't take it personal. I told him he was welcome back any time, but the stoic types kind of freak me out.

I'm trying to make my land look a little more presentable. I put in a tavern, created a little pond, and have added some trees Someone stopped in a few hours ago, I think they are AFK lol I'm not sure who he is, but he fits the theme pretty well. His head is poking through by the pond. I felt kind of bad, creating a pond under him, but I didn't want to kick him out either.

I love my castle, but the lag spikes were absolutely terrible. I should have known the deal was too good to be true I've opted to just bite the bullet, and purchase some mainland, where it is not nearly as bad. But now I have castles, as many castles as I want without the lagspikes 😍 This one started to float away, I had to secure it with a chain and stake. I'm saving my pennies for my favorite castle, the Fabien castle II. So today, was mostly trying to figure out how to setup land for a group, finding the right castles, decorating them, and of course chaining them down so they don't float off into my neighbor's yard. Oh, and also fishing, lots of fishing

I had been looking all over the place for it, and have finally found it, but am afraid to dig it out of the mound for now because those worms look aggressive. I brought my kitty cat as back up, but he won't go near them, I believe poor Adelbert may be afraid of worms. I think that mound may be where my missing shoe is too 😣 I think the worms are still retaliating.. They've had enough of me using them for bait, and feeding them to moles 🤣 Just look at them! They are viscous little things
