Yes, the market decides but at the end its about the designers deciding. If not enough designers create stuff for a body, a head, or whatever....in this case the body....it is not attractive enough for the customer. I would say a majority of the customers looks for a body having lots of content available. I am pretty sure Ramses did pitch his body to clothing designers but that is a difficult task. Most designers is being hard to catch on, many are only online for designing purpose and dont pay attention to requests. Also rigging for a new body costs quite some hours of time without knowing that it will be sold. Clothing makers need to have profit too, so they concentrate on a few bodies. Its easier to create for the top 2 or 3 where you know you got chances to sell your creation than for a new body. So the designers usually will wait and watch how the new body develops before they start rigging for it. One good example is the Invictus Heracles Body, a fairly good one but having no support by the designers, not even a handful creating for it. Another example is Legacy who provided already a big amount of different clothing at the start of their body. I guess for them it was quite easier as they had good connections already to clothes designers from their former TMP body. Also they have been very aggressively advertising their new body which cost a lot of money, not every creator can afford. Evolve, at the time of its start, was the first full BOM body. One reason they rolled it out although Davide had already a small brand awareness. Also at the time in terms of detailed body, user friendly but powerful hud, base shape which could be easy adjusted without becoming out of proportions the Evolve actually was far better than the old outdated Aesthetic, Signature, Belleza & Slink. Not to forget, that Evolve got the sexiest butt of all and even provided butt physics...lol. Evolve actually has been the best body next to Legacy, but ExMachina havent had the power to rise its popularity. And why the creator is making a new model now? Because he can. Seriously, now is the best time to come out with a new model. All male bodies, besides Legacy/Invictus/Kario, are totally outdated and dont reflect nowadays standards. Designers create only for Legacy, Jake, Gianni with Gianni being dropped by more and more designers. Slink, Aesthetic, David, Adam almost dont get new stuff anymore. Rebirth is a niche product. Invictus I mentioned before. Kario is slowly being adapted by the designers but honestly imho it is a terrible body and I dont think it will get the populartiy. At no point of time it was better than now to get out with a new body, before the bigger companies like Signature or Belleza will do.

And btw ExMachina Evolve was one of the most underestimated bodies ever. It made quite an impact with 2 handful of designers rigging for it but its popularity should have deserved better. And I am pretty much looking forward to the newest one, Peter is designing. Especially because all male bodies are kinda outdated besides of Legacy, Inithium Kario (which is a total disappointment) & Invictus Heracles (which has too less support of designers). So, ExMachina, hit the market before others do. Now is the best time for it

How often do you need a body update? Actually a few updates shortly after release to get rid of some glitches and then its done (given after that its all working flawless). Legacy Male and Athletic didnt receive any update for years, Signature Gianni & Geralt once BOM got popular, Belleza Jake dont know when and all other male meshbodies are negligible given their popularity on the grid. So, given these facts, why should you add a permanent scripter for your team if you need him only once in a while? How to cover his salary if the body doesnt belong to the most selling ones? So yes, unless you are a company like Legacy, Inithium or Matreya, you have to outsource the scripting if you arent capable of it. There is nothing wrong with it. By the way, I own half a dozen different male mesh bodies and I am glad, they dont get updated so often. They work fine and no need to adjust all my looks over and over again.

Simple question. What keeps LL from applying the same rules Bellissaria got on on the rest of mainland? Means no banlines and security orbs giving you time to react and just push you out instead of sending you home? Those rules make totally sense and still offer privacy.

Yes, I read and know about it. And the work out is still painful because you have to wait for the other party to be online. And there are more communication issues regarding offline contacts, not only that one. But it is as it is. Actually I was asking the thread opener if her issues happen when the recipient was on- or offline.

Are they off- or online when you send the invitations? I noticed when you accept an invitation you received while being offline, its not working at all.
