  1. Thanks, I'll have a look .... my underlying point here, of course, is that I consider myself very active in SL, albeit without bothering to look at blogs etc ... so I imagine that are a huge number of premium members who have no clue about this.
  2. hmmm, interesting, I have been a premium member for the best part of ten years, have a Linden home and also own a couple of private regions ... I'm active in SL every day ...but i don;t follow any blogs or posts and rarely read forums (only came here because this thread caught my eye) but I have heard nothing about new Linden homes - as far as I've noticed I haven't had any communication from LL about it - what is that all about? are the new homes nicer than the cramped old ones?
  3. To clarify, I’ll be exporting the four objects as a single dae and importing to SL in a single upload resulting in a four piece linkset. I have usually used a physics model with the same configuration (ie four pieces in a single dae) but was wondering if it was ok to make the physics model in one piece covering the whole model (which I don’t intend unlinking) which would allow me to use fewer polys. The same question goes for the lower lod models. Thanks for the answer and I’ll check out the links you’ve posted
  4. Hi im working in blender 2.79 on a model which consists of 4 separate objects in blender. My question is whether I need to make a separate physics model and LOD models for each of the four parts or whether I can make a single physics model and single LOD models covering the whole linkset? thanks.
