When I find an item I like, and it's not on the marketplace but rather in a store. Then I go that store, and every item is a million tiny preview images spread out over a massive area so I never find what I was looking for. Argh.

Those rare people who start offering to buy me things or give me Ls within 5-10 minutes of meeting me, which I just had some guy do forcing me to block him because he kept insisting despite me repeatedly saying "no". Talk about putting me on the spot and making me uncomfortable.

So I found that display setting and I think I'm in the clear at 670k triangles? But it's also startling to see just how many are walking around with 1-2m, probably completely unaware.

This is what I wonder. Since complexity is basically made up, how do I tell if my avatar is too complex and making others' experience worse? What should I be looking at?

This one is infuriating. In the middle of a conversation and someone wants to TP me which I accept? Boom, random hang and inevitable crash for absolutely no reason. And it happens SO often.

Granted, but they always find things that have something small wrong with them that ends up ruining it.

This happened a few days ago. So my viewer hadn't correctly loaded everything yet, and while I was idling at a beach someone who hadn't undressed himself rezzed at the landing pad. So what I saw for about three minutes were these giant pants obscuring my view of absolutely everything.

I hovered my mouse over the center, and to my surprise, a name showed up indicating there was a person in there! Poor guy got eaten by his own pair of pants 😔

It sounds like you just need to play with the sliders and maybe a deformer, you don't HAVE to have a huge badonkadonk if you know what you're doing. I wouldn't consider my Reborn avatar to be very slim but she doesn't look like, super exaggerated or anything.

I keep targets off for myself, on for others. I'm curious as to who is snooping who, and it often leads to me reading more profiles and checking out more avatars than I would without it. At the same time, I'd be mortified if someone saw me lingering on them and called me out on it.

But if they were to disappear tomorrow I wouldn't be very bothered. It's just one of those things that's there and I don't really know why it's there.

People who are just negative for no literally no reason. I was having fun chilling with randoms in a server and everything was cool until, completely unprompted, some girl started getting snippy and confrontational with me in local like ???? I simply left, I wasn't dealing with that nonsense today. That kind of behavior reminds me of the nightmare that was my middle school years where kids would do the same thing... except this was a fully grown adult.

[Something to add texture to the body]

I am seeking any BOM that adds texture and detailing to the body, preferably for Reborn. I have a head skin that is highly detailed and yet my arms still look kind of doll like so it contrasts in a way I don't like.

Thank you. I was in desperate need for a better profile shot (in-world and on the forum), so I took that after learning the basics of SL photo tools in a YT video and messing around with some projectors. Turned out much better than any of my previous photos.
