its not bs. I do what I please when I go out. I dont wear a mask when driving my car or walking around the streets or in a park or in a parking lot. and not all cities have mandated the wearing of a mask in all places. so if traveling to one of those cities I dont have to wear a mask even if you might think i should. there are lots of small towns and cities that do not require you to wear a mask when going out or into places. it becomes totally the choice of the store at that point.

you mentioned how you wear a mask even with your problems with breathing.. that is a choice.. so you "choose' to wear that mask thinking it makes you a better person by doing so. it doesn't.
you tried to use the possibility of a shower fall as toward reasons why people should still wear the mask.. that because there is even a slight possibility that should be enough reason for them to wear the mask in your eyes.
you stated about your opinion about keeping people alive by wearing the mask as if it is some noble concept or idea.. its not. basically trying to indicate that anyone that doesn't is a problem in your eyes.

I have a compromised immune system as well as not being able to breathe wearing a mask. I still wear a mask. Not just for my sake.
I much prefer my opinion of keeping people alive as opposed to their opinion of letting people die. In spite of the fact that there are too many humans destroying the only home they have.
just because you 'choose' to do something does not mean anyone else has too because you think it is the right thing. people are allowed to be people regardless if others like it or not. no one owes anyone anything at all.
towards your shower comment.. there is less then a 1% chance that will ever happen.. not going to worry about a 1% chance item. i never take a shower when tired or exhausted or any other condition similar or when there is anything in the the shower that might cause a slip hazard.
you would have did better using a car wreck for your example..

OK, the changing clothes bit won't be covered by it, but if it's just about commonly used HUDs and such, Firestorm has that very handy "wearable favorites" option.
she has done this at various other times with her updates to try and make her product seem better then others. she even has tried to override the oc update stream to make others get her product updates instead.
that folder can be very handy for quick and easy hud adding and removing. i use it at times.

sl bdsm caters more to abusive tactics then what rl bdsm does. in most dungeons or playrooms most of what is allowed or tried here would never fly and the person would be told to leave. if reported to the community or local group they would be ousted and everyone would be warned.. but here its tolerated and people are even told to shut up about it that its ok. not to shame or point them out.
its not the right of an owner to ever punish for using a safeword or say you cant have one or cant have limits but here that is totally acceptable in a lot of the groups.
having no safeword or no limits is not safe by any means ever. even in online virtual bdsm play. no matter how much you claim you trust or respect your dom/master/owner...
the specifics of the equipment matter a lot because of what it allows to be done and the idea behind it of how it should be acceptable or tolerable or ok to do it.
with my collar I always have power over consent.. as it should be with bdsm. but when a collar or device can remove your safeword you loose that.. and that is not bdsm. that is abuse.

Cooperation? in this day and age? ha! I give you the current crop of antimaskers. Refusing to wear a mask not just for their own safety but for the safety of others. Obviously they don't care if they contract Covid-19 (and die from it) or cause the death of those around them. On the other hand, it reduces the population of a viral species on an over burdened planet and helps to weed out the lesser intelligent of the human lifeform.
see the thing is there is no guarantee they will contract it or die from it.. or spread it to others so its really a 50/50 thing in their eyes.
and some have breathing problems that prevent them from wearing them.. or causing them serious distress. so are you going to go work for them or do all their shopping and then deliver it for them so they never have to go out in public like which you would probably next suggest they do. if not.. then your opinion to them doesn't matter and wont.

The account debiting scam works like this: Someone gives you an object. Maybe it seems to be a Catwa head, maybe it's a dance HUD, maybe it's a "make $L with this soda vending machine" object. When you rez it or wear it, you see this:
If you click "Allow access" the object may then take all the money it wants from your $L account. It will continue to have that access as long as it exists in world.
The tricky part about this is that giving this permission is not always bad. It's needed by some things like vendor systems, rental boxes, and a lot of tip jars, so that they can offer refunds or share income with another party. Just be sure you know that whatever is asking for this is from someone you trust.
you can revoke access and permissions to a lot of objects even if they remain in world. its not permanent in all cases.

that is determined by the individual and their limits and what they decide is acceptable behavior or not.
what someone may call theft or abuse. another may call justful tributing to their dominant.

no it no longer has that. they removed it when they went to 7.5. now you have to add yourself as owner to the collar by the add menu in the access list.
that particular version was in the vd collars.. at one point oc did add something similar in their 7.2 version but then decided to remove it. which I disagree with and why I never upgraded my collar beyond 7.3 hybrid which still has that functionality and probably never will.
i use whim or other systems for my outfit management and not the collar. the new 7.5 folders and outfits is not tempting enough to me to ever need to upgrade to it.
that was one of the major improvements to safety and consent that vd made over oc in my opinion. but guess oc has its own view on that idea.
another issue with the new oc collars it doesn't have a relay installed by default anymore. you have to use a hud or install it separately. plus you can have your safeword turned off in the collar or the relay. which is totally catering to abusive means in my opinion. causing lots of unneeded drama and aggravation with people. because some think its cheating to have or use a safeword. or that using a safeword should be a punishable offense.. which is completely contrary to what bdsm is about.
in fact most current collars even whim allow that.. so you might often find yourself having to runaway or log out of rlv to get away from narcissistic or abusive or domineering or misogynistic dominants.
many collars even allow the runaway feature to be removed.. and even oc is considering adding that at some point.. when that was a premium script by vd called heartcore at one point.
so yeah you have to be a lot more careful on who you trust or add to your collars and if you accept a collar given to you by someone else because you never know how they may have modified it and all the drama and frustration or aggravation it may cause.
a bit too much catering to the idea of being helpless or powerless.. aka abuse-able and usable and easily taken advantage of. or having to just accept the consequences and having no choice beyond logging out of the viewer.. that you have to or should just deal with it and flow with it and accept it.. which again is contrary to how bdsm really works.
which is why most rl bdsm communities laugh if you mention sl bdsm as your experience since its nothing like rl bdsm for the most part.

but you see that would then punish the land owner making them have to give up li just so people knew to keep out. which I dont see most land owners wanting to do. because then the problem would be how many are needed and how far apart.. which could eat in to someones parcel allotment for other items.
even if the buoy was a 1 li item but if you had to put up 10-20 around your water that would be 20 less prims available for other items. not something most people would like having to give up.
