I don't remember where they were ether or who posted them, but I took a few quick ones of what I did. I tried to highlight them a bit to make them a bit easier to see, especially for anyone who might not be familiar with the windows. I should also note that I'm on Firestorm with the hybrid version of the layout, so some of this may look slightly depending on viewer/layout type. So here they are for anyone it may help. I limited my framerate to 60 under Graphics>Rendering. My understanding is somewhere between 30 - 60 is a good range to be in. Under Graphics>General is where to find the shadows and mirrors. Right now, I have them both set to none right now, and only turn on shadows for photos and mirrors only if I need them for a particular photo. Draw distance can be found here as well, in my layout, draw distance can also be found in quick preferences and in the top right of the UI by a binocular icon for quicker adjustment. I'm not sure if the later two draw distance locations are effect by the chosen FS layout of not.

This is one I came across recently, I forget if it was here or elsewhere, that could be helpful too!

I only just saw this post, I don't peek in to the make friends section super often. But I'm a big Kpop fan! I would say some of my most favorite groups are BTS 2NE1, f(x), EXO, Big Bang, BlackPink, and Girls' Generation.

I can only speak for me, but I've been enjoying it. It gives me a great way to quickly and easily upload the pics I take, something I had been trying to do in blog style before PrimFeed but was not really enjoying the blog style so much. As for other social media, I've always hated the upload system for Flickr, only used it when BB's classes used it and I don't even like using FB for real life stuff, let alone SL. I can't remember the last time I used FB for anything more then logging into a couple of the games I play, and if not for that, I'd not even have a FB. X only gets used for contest sharing in SL, usually from those who still hold them on Flickr. So for me, who just wants to share pics I've taken in SL, view pics others have taken and check up on my favorite stores, PrimFeed has been absolutely wonderful.

I've done both, it depends how lazy I am when it comes to switching up the dance for the song [something I enjoy doing when using my own hud], sometimes it's easier to let someone else do it if I have to go between RL and SL during the event. As for sync, I'm fine ether way, I've been to some events with amazing synced dances, but sometimes I like doing my own thing too. It all just kind of depends for me.

It's kind of disheartening to know that many kids are willing to do that. My sister and I would have never even thought of this [and would have been in SO much trouble if we ever would have], we just asked for permission, and I'm not even that all that old, so how are kids being raised these days, have things changed that much in the years since I was a kid? Don't answer that one, I know it has, but still? Smh.

I want to address this point here. There are plenty of non thick bodies out there for women, Maitreya which still tops all the most used lists for the stores I shop at [I realize that's different for some communities, but that doesn't make thick the norm.], Legacy and go fairly thin, LucyBody exists and is currently one of the more popular entry bodies for new players along with the free Legacy body. Prima exists and while not as supported as the others, has enough support to mention here. Guys have fewer options, but there's still a wider range then you think, Kario and Legacy athletic can do the muscle look, Jake falls somewhere in between depending on shape, and Signature and CZ Slim, can get get much slimmer. So there is variety available. Even if you just take the most popular bodies of each there's variety; Female; Slim = Maitreya [Classic or X]/LucyBody, or Legacy - Thick = EBody Reborn Male; Slim = Signature Gianni - Thick/muscle Legacy Athletic, with Jake being kind of in the middle.

Yes, very much agreed. I also feel that the age should be 18+ to join SL and not 16+ [I believe that's the current requirement, someone please correct if I have that wrong]. A real child has no business here that couldn't be better served [maybe? some of those sites can be kind of creepy too] by another site aimed for them. But before I digress from the topic to much, over all the concept of them is more creepy then helpful, even with the few valid use cases there are. Plus in theory, avatars should helping the sim to feel full rather then stand ins. Though I could see their use for quest NPCs and of theme sims, I've seen that in the past. On the MP some people have made animesh versions of SL avatars, perhaps something like that would be better suited.

I'm love/hate on these things. They can be good if your creating say a themed event or set up, I'm seen some places where they did add to the vibe of the space, but then again, they are also eerily not suited to how SL looks and also make me concerned for who their scanning/using pics of to get these in SL. Most places/occupations require that you get a model release to use someone's likeness and the RL photographer in me immediately jumps to this requirement. Somehow I highly doubt those who upload these are getting a model release each time, unless their buying licensed photos for every one they upload, I somehow don't think so.

That feature use to exist, I have no clue why it stopped, I still have 5 of the original folders I'd made that I've been using to help sort, but am no longer able to make any more. What I do with sorting my own looks is give each look a name, for instance my brunette is Gabbi in my outfits, so I just have to go the appearance tab and type in Gabbi to see all those outfits instantly. That's worked pretty well for me so far.

The commercialism side of Christmas was never really and still isn't a focus in my family, so I love Christmas, it's my favorite holiday and always has been since as long as I can remember. In my house it's all about the 4 F's, family, faith, fun and food. My memories both old and new are all baking, putting up and going around to look at people's Christmas lights, services and baking, did I mention baking? It's also the one time of year my sister gets a major vacation off work, so it's the time we actually get to hang out and do fun things we don't often get much time to do.

Whenever I change up my avatar look, so anywhere between every few months to a couple times a week.

Well, my intent was to put one in the entryway of the house, so other avatars would be an issue for me. As to what others will do with them, who knows, lol. I'll would love to see someone make a building out of mirrors, just for fun. I bet it would lag everyone in the parcel out, but it would be amusing! There is a game though that indeed has working mirrors [very good ones at that], but how they did with lots of people I'm not sure, it is a very old creepy SL like clone and I hardly ever saw another person except in one or two areas [which didn't have mirrors], let alone all in one space where mirrors were present. I liked the idea I could put out working mirrors in rooms where it made sense, like my entryway or a vanity.

I agree, the mirrors which I was actually looking forward to, are a major issue right now. For the most part my laptop handles PBR well, but the mirrors not so much, I have to disable them. I've also noticed that my fan goes up with shadows on where it didn't before [ in theory not an issue for the fan to run, but I've had past issues with on my first laptop, so I'm admittedly a bit paranoid], so unless I'm taking pics, I've been keeping those off as well till fixes come in. With those two things off, things run well for me so far, and I've liked the PBR content I've seen so far.

The only time I've ever turned it on is when an inworld event needed it to hear the speaker. I've never talked on voice, don't want to for the same reason I hate talking on the phone, it makes me nervous and uncomfortable. Typing is easier and far more relaxed for me.

I have been noticing this a ton with my eyes lately, glad it's not just me, I thought I was going crazy! Today I made another look and it took a full 30 minutes for my eyes to update. Click on the layer edit tab, they would show, close it out and it would revert back to the pair I had replaced.

I'm a PG only user, probably always will be, but this was the dumbest suggestion ever. We don't need a separate area, just the current area rating better enforced. Mainly and especially in G areas. I spend 99% of of my time in M and G areas, only go to A if a store I need to visit is there, but I see way more violations in G areas then I ever do in M.

This is mine, lol. Though I do have stuff for Lara/LaraX, Toddleedoo, Dinkie cat, JOMO, ect, plus tons of textures/building stuff. At least it's all organized though. I hope to get this down once I box up all the 5.3 outfits that don't fit LaraX. I probably should go though my furniture, accessories and makeup too to see if there's anything I can box up, they add a lot, if not the most of all my category folders.

I know it can be made longer through EEP if you own the land, on FS at least. My sister and I have a 24 hour cycle running on ours. I don't know about if you don't own the land though.

I disagree, that would be fine in Moderate, not for G, remember there are plans to open Primfeed up to the public later, this needs to be enforced, G should be completely SFW! ETA; Also what does LL have to do with it? I'm talking for Primfeed, not SL. I meant the first to examples, sorry. It was 1 am and I bolded more then I meant. To me a striper pole and a woman beckoning are find for M because they aren't sex acts [though I supose what clothing is worn in the pic could make a difference], your right the later two aren't fit for anything but A+. Also AGAIN, I have no issue deciding what belongs in G, I feel I know what belongs there just fine. It's M where I have trouble deciding, I'll requote the post for you! I agree we have very difference tastes, but that's also kind of my point, there is no way to decide this unless the are some very set guidelines, something that this 4th rating on Primfeed could cover that we don't get the luxury of inworld .

I feel like G should be self explanatory, would you wear it in front of your kid? Your grandma, your co workers? G should be the one place where absolutely everyone can feel safe, this will especially become important when the site is viewable by the public, which is in the works according to my understanding. As to the part I bolded, I don't recall saying it should, I said sex and hardcore should go to adult+, nether of those scenarios depict sex. We have a 4th rating here for a reason. If all the sex stuff and hardcore went to Adult+, then what even would be the point of the plain Adult anymore? If all that stuff was in Adult+, then the plain Adult section would be largely free from it [assuming people stick it at least, which right now I don't even see them doing for general], so you wouldn't have to see all that stuff. It could be the category just for the artistic stuff and people would be able to filter out all the hardcore, gory stuff. I also never debated on G's rating explanation. Only M's on what should be reported.
