IKR? How can someone get THAT mad, in just a couple of minutes?! I can't imagine how this person is in RL.

Without the kind people here from this forum, who have repeatedly and generously been there for me while i learn everything there is to know, I never would have stayed beyond the first day. That's a fact.

A couple days ago I logged on to SL, took my avi to the beach like i always do, and then in RL got up and made breakfast, which took all of about 5 minutes. When I came back 2 male avi's were standing near where my avi was laying. One of the guys apparently had said hi to me, and when my avi didnt respond because i wasn't there, he said " You F'g B***h you're talking to that guy, who knows absolutely nothing, and not talking to me?. F you, you F'g B***h!!". I blocked him and left the area.

Aethelwine Thank you for telling me about the mermaid themed areas, and the other swimming areas. I will definitely check those places out!

Hooray!! I have my boat now!!! And my boat slip!! And it's all thanks to -------------------> Gollum D Hoobinoo. He saw my posts here in this thread I guess, because he messaged me offering help, and met me at the Marina. He spent 2 hours with me, and I was finally able to rez the boat underwater, at my boat slip. 😁 I am so happy right now. Come check out my little red boat sometime at slip #26 at Nautilus. It's so cute! It's not big and impressive like all the other boats, but it has a certain charm. Thank you SO much, Mr. Gollum!!!! Your help and unbelievable generosity will never be forgotten. 🙂

I finally detached it from the air and it disappeared.

I dragged it out of my inventory, and a tiny miniature gold colored boat came out, and was flying around the marina. I finally caught it. I also IM'd Nautilus, but have not heard back from them yet.

Editing this to say yes, I did get a group tag from Nautilus.

How do I rez the boat that i bought, and now paying for rent at Nautilus?

I fell in love with this sporty red boat at first sight. And I rented a boat slip, too. I still haven't figured out yet how to rez my new boat there on the water. lol lol But thank you so much for telling me about Nautilus. It's perfect. So, now i only care about getting a place where I can swim, since boating has been taken care of.... I believe I''ve now gone to all or most of the places you all have mentioned. Some of them are really beautiful!! I haven't decided yet on what I'm going to do. I'd rather rent right now than buy if possible. But if i find the perfect place I would consider buying it. Also, I am open to renting a place that already has a home on it. This morning I saw a lot of places that had a gorgeous view of the ocean but they were tiny huts and just not practical for me and they don't allow you to put your own home on the land. Other places i saw the homes were huge, and I really didnt want that either. A couple places were where there's nobody else around and I want to live where other people are living. I may give up a full ocean view in fact to live in more active sims. I am still looking though. I've already vacated my land so I want to find a place soon.

Hi. I recently rented land with a beautiful view of water, but the water is not available to anyone. So, I've been looking this week for land that has an unobstructed view of water, and where i can swim and go boating, but I have yet to visit a place where there is an unobstructed view of water!!! I don't know why, but I never expect this to be an issue. Yet, I've spent at least 4 hours this week just looking to no avail. Every parcel I visited, there were buildings on the water blocking the parcel's view! Zindra is where I really wanted to rent land, but there's evidently no parcel with a good view. 😕

Well, to be honest, i accidentally deleted my house 5 other times yesterday, too. lol There is definitely a learning curve on here. But now everything is as it should be, and I can move my house back from the edge of the water...... I really appreciate, as always, everyone's help. 🙂

Great news!! Azure Billing was online, and I asked them my question about the 4 shrubs. The guy said he thought they would be returnable, so he asked to be tp'd to my home, and in 3 seconds, no joke it was that fast, he was there and gone, and he messaged me a second later to say all the shrubs were gone!! Azure Billing seriously couldn't have been any nicer. I worried over nothing. 😌

Ok, I will message them tomorrow. I guess the worst they can say is no. I did try right clicking on them yesterday, and when i did that it deleted the entire house. That was a real pain!! lol Oh and there is no "return" option when i right click.

Thank you so much Tari and Cindy! The thing is, in rl I am the type of person who doesn't want to be a bother to anyone at any time, and so I bring that part of me to SL I guess. The thought of bothering a landlord a mere 24 hours after renting from them, is really the last thing I want to do. I don't want them to think this is a sign of things to come from me. But on the other hand, the shrubs are so obnoxious that i have to put my house practically right on the water to avoid them. 😟

I love stand up comedy, so thank you for mentioning this place. I appreciate it.

Hi everyone. I downgraded my premium account yesterday, and rented a parcel of land on the Azures Island. I also bought a really tiny home to go on my tiny parcel. It's really adorable! The only thing I'm unhappy about is that there are 4 small shrubs that are totally in my way. They are ALL within my boundary. The shrubs are spread out over the parcel, in such a way that i have to have my house in a position so that one of the shrubs isn't appearing inside my house. I've tried to delete them, but that option isn't offered. Please tell me something can be done about this. Thanks in advance for any help. 😀

Update, I have NO signs on this new home too. Uuugh.

Ok, so I ended up having to abandon my home. I've got a new place now, and there aren't any NO signs at the top of my screen. I hope this solves all of these problems. Except I have one problem, that my curtains keep coming out at 2 at a time attached to each other and i can't separate them! Edited to add SL tried everything, even restarting my entire region, but nothing worked. The woman at the chat was very nice and patient with me the entire time.

I've been on with the SL chat for over 30 minutes now, trying to fix my issues with rez'g items on here. I'm still on with them. I had no idea this would take so long to fix..

My land area was restarted about 90 minutes ago, would that cause borking?

Yes!!! I was able to rez my first curtains effortlessly! I'm going to right now go look into the ctrl + alt + T and see what happens.. Thanks !
