    my first art patron offered only 150 prims :) but that tiny little skybox was what essentially kickstarted my love for virtual art years ago. what i did not mention is that the rest of my sim is just filled with my own personal stuff i can remove if needed ♥

    I believe she's looking for full sim-style art installations. Bryn Oh and Mistero Hifeng did/do some pretty large-scale sculptures and sim designs.

    I'm not looking FOR that type, I was using that type to describe what, in my opinion would de tasteful :) just an example, nothing more. i used to be a gallery owner and when i started out, land was simply offered to me. i thought it would be nice to do the same for somebody else ^^ that's all

    I personally built my previous art galleries in the style of art deco, posthumanism, alt industrial and neo noir. But I feel like art is something extremely personal and one definition cannot cover everyone's preference. Ideally I would love to see something similar to Bryn Oh's exhibits or those of Mistero Hifeng. But I am happy to connect with you inworld and see your works if you'd like ^^

    Hello! I am offering the ground level of my parcel (2084 x 656prims) to an artist/artists at no cost. My only requirement is for the artist to provide a tasteful, quality installation. If you need help with that, I can assist with building and landscaping items. (SL: Mother Mystic)

    while i do respect being mindful of other's rendering capabilities, i personally prefer the most up to date and realistic looks i can get. if i ever get in the way of other's experience, simply derender me :) i won't be resenting you for that ^^

    Honestly though, I would rather not know. I prefer to interact with people as they present themselves. It's more fun. Too much RL breaks the fantasy for me.

    26, been around since 2008 xD not just SL, but like the internet in general. in fact i also had myspace, hi5 and even aol. i was born with internet access in my room practically. lol i created my first email address when i was like 5. lol no idea why but i did. having so much access to the internet may seem unhealthy but in my case it helped me gain a solid grasp of english, opened my world to digital art, photoshop, video editing. i've learned html and so much more. ^^

    @Mother Mystic, what currency does your country use, and does PayPal or your bank charge you a currency conversion fee? Tracking these and selling and converting at a favorable time could definitely make a difference in how much "real" money you get out of your transaction.

    I dont have a bank account anymore  I simply use Paypal and USD as is

    The lower the amount you cash out the worse it is. So you cash out when you need to and not a day before. And you track it and account for it on your tax forms as "self-employment income"  - the taxman goes all grumpycat if they find out about a source of income you haven't declared, even if it only amounts to pennies in taxes.

    Hi. I suck at math. Unapologetically so.

     

    I'm just trying to figure out when I should cash out so that I minimize my losses. I know there's a standard 2.5% per each and every transaction + the paypal fee.

    Right now I cash out after each 30k-40k earned. Is that too soon? If so when should I cash out?

    okay so i did the top box because the bottom box was confusing af lol and got this: You have sold L$4,043 for a credit of US$15.55 to your US$ Tilia Account Balance using LindeX.  and then i went back to the process credit page and did the thing and it wasn't greyed out anymore lol thanks my dude. you're literally faster than any customer support ever. have a cookie or something ♥ xo

    If your USD balance is $0.00 (because you haven't sold any linden $'s) then it's true that there is not enough funds. 

     

     

     

    okay but the other person here literally said it works with just paypal. i am so confused + the other people i know don't sell
