Yeah, I guess this is a good approach! When I started with SL I came very early to the point, that a mesh body for my Avatar is a must .... but regards using a mesh head I was always struggling. Last week ... finally .... after 1 year of testing different Avatar heads I decided to use a mesh head for my Avi .... (Genus Classic). Same as Angelikiinha, I think, the best way is to experiment with the low-price Heads first to see which best fits to your Avi ... I would trust the economic mechanisms: If SL may vanish in future, there will be already several other startups in pole position to fill the hole and they maybe will attract us with some new ideas and advanced technology.

I bought Affinity Photo and Pixelmator and like both. On my Ipad Pro I prefer using Pixelmator for my texture work (for my SL Fashion Shop), whereas on my MAC I work with Affinity Photo only. So its a difficult question to answer, which of both is my favorite and of course my opinion is no reference to others, for everyone has a different approach in editing photos ...

Lol .... You‘re right and I fully agree with you. But the world is divided into two parts: The one part full of persons like you, who are brilliant in analytics, technically skilled and fixed on finding solutions .... and than we have the second half with people like niko4005 ... and me ... who are always totally surprised by technical malfunctions and full of panic that their paradise was burned down within seconds ... and driven by that panic we are not able to describe precise what happened to us. For us, the answer of Nalates Urriah is a good guideline of finding the answer step by step and to calm down a bit ... 🙂 As said, the point is on you ... I just wanted to explain, why niko4005 should not feel like an complete idiot for posting an imprecise help request ....

I decided to use a mesh head for my Avi .... but since that moment I am still undecided if I should continue with my new face or if I better go with my old one .... aaarghhhhhh! Regarding clothes I created folders for types of clothes like PANTS, SKIRT, TOPS, HEELS, etc. For each of those folders I have subfolders for main colors (BLACK, RED, BLUE etc.). Now if I want to combine a black skirt with a black top, I only need to browse the folders SKIRTS —> BLACK and TOPS —> BLACK .

I doubt that 😉 But agree with all other things you said before.

wow, basic eyes with complexity of 200k is indeed very high. I am not sure if this is a possible solution for your avatar, but maybe there is a way to replace the basic eyes with other eyes of lower complexity?

Sometimes it is only a single item of your Avatar (a piece of clothes etc.) which makes the complexity rise from 50k to 70k or even higher. Happened to me 2 weeks ago, when I was wearing a pretty old (but very beautiful) non-mesh bracelet.
