    I went through the same ***** up you did, It happens to some.  I had membership for about 3 months and after the last one. It said I had overdrawn. by around 10 bucks. Now I knew I was in no position to pay the outstanding balance. I called LindenLabs and a Real Person answer and takes care of you. It should take no more than 10 minutes if you aren't on hold. Simply explain your situation clearly and They will cater to you.

    Don't let this ruin playing. I had to call them different times one for that reason and They kept positive, are friendly and they a professional and will treat you with respect in your confusion. I'm happy I called them that day because now I have many good memories

    Linden Labs has all of our interests in sight. I felt I HAD to share this.

    I have been in SL for a little under a year and I have very few places I actually thoroughly enjoy.

     

    • Specific Places I Need Recommendations in
    1. All types of Stores  -  Animations - Furniture - Hair - Shoes - Accessories - Mesh Heads - Clothes - ETC     ! I Use Maitreya Body !
    2. Hangout spots of all kinds, places I can meet new people and friends in a welcoming community.
    3. Anywhere with beautiful Scenery, good for photography and/or exploring
    4. Gaming sims that is legal in all states (If it's possible) I've been dying to check one out; either General or moderate i'm guessing
    5. Job agencies and Educational Sims of any kind.

     

    If I did not list anything you would recommend me, Tell me anyways because I want to broaden my horizons.

    I'm not sure if it's as stupid as it sounds, but I want to do something good for Second Life.

    I seem to write records down, and in sl I am a DFS player and I organize with notecards, and provide extra information regarding anything from building, scripting, and I make things neat and easy for me to read as a spacehead, I tend to not have the BEST memory. I am also a writer in real life, Music and Novel wise haha. 

    Point is.

    Would you guys pay for informational or neat organized information made by Myself, not copyright of course. 

    Would you be interested in reading notecard novels? Maybe even going to the extend of scripting book/cases so you have a physical feel?

    I'm too creative.. Tell me what you're thinking. Is this dumb?

    Making a playlist doesn't make you a bad DJ, it's called preparation. With the right skills you still can put up a great show and give people the time they look for.
    Yes you need a stream, but don't have to rent it ( can't buy those) but you also can set up a stream at your own machines, just have a pc that's powerfull enough for the total users ánd bandwith.
    Most DJ's here use Sam, even winamp, or VDJ, it's pretty easy to connect the stream to those.
    And of course... the legal side, you'll need to contact your local instance for broadcasting( because you in fact create a radiostation) and licences to use the music, but as pro you for sure know that.

    Sl streams can be rented from as little as 25 lindens a week. There are 'shops' inworld where you can go and rent a stream. You pay your lindys and in return you are given a notecard with your stream URL and a password to access it. Whatever you use as a mixer, hardware or software, that mixers output has to be sent to your stream url input. I cannot explain how its done with hardware, but in my software mixer ( Mixxx ) I just enter the rented stream url into its settings ...

    I'm a RL DJ How do I go about SL DJ?

    So, I actually have a home studio downstairs, I know how to mix, I spin in real life for a Living. How do I go about doing something Totally unheard of, and actually Mix Beats with my own personal playlist In SL? I have speakers downstairs my mixer laptop with SL on it. Can I use it through a microphone? Or would I need to buy a Stream and just be boring and stream song after song? I can take requests ALWAYS.

    I want to do something other than dance for money... I hate it irl.

    If not, I will stream from playlist. I have a Pro mic as I said, So I'll be hyping up the party with my voice.
    If this is the case if anyone knows how I can get a streaming playlist, I have a ***** load of mp3 plus original songs, family of songwriters and musicians. (I sing also) But if anyone knows how I can get a stream going, that would be great(":

    Hey, thank you so much! I will apply(: Problem is, I don't know how DJing in Second Life works unfortunately. But I mean I got my Mixer right in front of me haha, I'm an actual Disc Jockey. So I would love to find a way to spin in a sl club.

    Alright, so I got a job as a dancer actually extremely quick for being a total noobs haha. But I was racking in tips nicely, but I started escorting, and I hate doing it, I am working to be a dj in real life, I'm very charismatic and charming, I also became a member of my Mc 2 weeks into it, now 6 months in I am secretary. Honestly, I'm very good with people with mental illness and advice in life, I'm pretty young yet all my friends tell me when they need a therapy session haha. I'm a very good vocalist, I was humming as a toddler and belting get as a young teen. I have lots of work and life experience. I'm sorry I don't have a PhD. But I bet you I got something to offer. Please reply with any possible opportunities, I'm voice verified. Thank you.

    I have no friends who are girls, and honestly I need a *****ing girl friend so I can be emotional, and talk about things a girl would understand. Honestly I'm an open minded girl, I have always ended up being one of the guys, but you can't talk or show emotion to them like your own gender.. anyone wanna hit me up in world? I'll be on shortly

I discovered one of my favorite hobbies through SL ( Roleplaying!)

    I've tried a lot of different platforms, IMVU, Yoville, Smallville, etc, but none of them has kept me coming back like SL has ❤️

    I’m in the same boat! My account was recently on hold for about a month and I was only playing for a little over a month and usually I don’t just come back to things. But second life, I did. I have tried those games, imvu, smallworlds, yoville. And I too have met some amazing people I believe are my friends and a great to me. However I have not a bad experience especially first experience like you have. I have never really been a role player, SL HAS Opened me up a little bit towards it. But I never go to role play sims. Maybe I will in the future, if not far future

    Sounds like a blast! Not really my thing CaH and tiny empires. But I’m so glad you enjoy it(: I’m happy we’re happy with our experiences even if they aren’t the same.

Out of all of them, I've met a furry (the nicest guy ever), a firefighter, a programmer, and a business man (who kind of talked down to me), and I had deep conversations with most of them.     It's been a blast and I wouldn't trade it for anything. Here's to another 5 years!

    Hey, I’m Eletra. I started off on second life 10 days before my 19th birthday 3 months ago. And I have experienced nothing but greatness. I have only had one experience of useasiness and that’s just because this girl was a ***** in the club. I have met friends, joined an mc, gotten a job. I feel second life has treated me well so far. 

     

    Now or I want to know how it has affected other people and their experiences, good and bad. Share some of your story, how long have you been on? Are you on frequently? And how is your second life experience currently?
