I really enjoy making cosplay avatars, and I wondered if anyone did the same here and wanted to share?

For clarification - a cosplay avatar is intended to look like a character from a pre-established media source! This can be from movies, books, games, anime, etc...

Also, try and post a picture of who you're cosplaying! Because comparison is fun : >

though paying my builders is also a pretty big chunk :0 but i dont feel bad about that they deserve it

oh wow, thats.... literally exactly what i was looking for! it appears to be the exact 'hall of dreams' from the 30kL$ i mentioned in the OP but by itself instead of the whole temple : D !! thank you so much!!!!

so here's my sob story;

i was looking for a temple similar to the Yumedono of Hōryū-ji, and found one! buuuuuuuuut it's 30,000L$ and includes the ENTIRE temple, so i'd really only want to spend that as an absolute last resort. so i'm coming here as an attempt to find an alternative!

i'm also looking for decor to resemble a tower(?) pictured in a screenshot from a game

cool, thanks :0! i have another question if you don't mind, about the gridsurvey website - i searched the region name there and found it was last online in 2009 (but now ceases to exist)

would i still be able to use that name for a region? i remember back when land sales were open i tested the name and it was available

in lieu of full region sales fully opening up again, i have a question about naming them -

in the rules about naming private regions, it says:

• A name which violates any trademark right, copyright, or other proprietary right.

however, what if i wanted to name a region after something that is not copyrighted? outlining the situation a bit more:

• the name is of a fictional land that is not copyrighted, the source is generally considered public domain
• the creator is explicitly okay with others using their fictional land's name in other endeavors (there have been third party published for-profit using the name, for example)

however, it still is an existing fictional entity that is known of. would naming a region after it be alright?

you'd have to make the two sides separately (i.e. with one half of the text on one and one half on the other) then combine them by designating each on a separate half of the body - the top and bottom halves of the skin designation for BOMR are for left and right

if you need help aligning your tattoo you can shoot me an im inworld (or a notecard if i'm offline) and i can try aligning it to your skin as a tattoo layer

i forget how i came across this place... it's been in my LMs for a long time! but's it's one of those places i like to visit when i'm bored. while the town portion is currently under contruction, the rest of the portals at landing work just fine. my favorite is kid town because it's got a movie theatre, bowling, go karts, and mini golf! it reminds me of those family fun centers i'd go to when i was younger. also it's like... probably haunted? dont worry about it! (i'm too chicken to check out some areas, lol)

one of the very first places i became familiar with! i'm not involved in rp here, but scenically it still holds up as one of my favorite places. ground level is a pretty forest / beach, upper level is a city! as a general note, it IS a furry sim, but i've seen a few humans around from time to time

this comes after a long session of scouring for clothes on the mp but i've never gotten clothing with pre-posed arms.... especially when the clothes in question are cute but the ARMS...... if i can't lovingly punch my friends in the face what's the point
