Thanks, Alyona. ^^ I didn't have intentions to go out and make my Genus head specifically Chinese, but the more I played with it and tweaked it, the more it seemed like a not so bad idea. ^^ I did some further tweaking, brought the lip size down and rounded out her face to give her a "fuller" look; but I think I kept the spirit of "Asian" at least with her and think I'm finally satisfied with it. I do love how malleable the head feels like it is! >< Just messing with the sliders on it was fun all by itself. x3 Also, I did find the hide ears thing! You were right where it was. ^^ Although it still sort of doesn't take well to my bento ears. Even with the head ears hidden there seems to be a weird glitch through the bento ones, so I guess I'll just leave it in the closet of my inventory until it's fully finished and we'll see if they maybe fix that. ><

I jumped on the Genus bandwagon because I fell in love with the .N X Genus Project Mei Applier ad at the Level event. n.n I'm a little disappointed I can't put on my bento ears yet, but hopefully maybe I'll be able to when it fully releases? I noticed there wasn't an option to hide the Genus head ears. >< I also had to do some tweaking to the head shape that came with the skin applier...It didn't look exactly like the advert to me when I threw it on, and I've kinda been a face-shape throw on and go kinda gal. >< Def trying for an Asian inspired look--apparently Chinese to be more specific.

This quote is from the wiki page for "Furry Fandom". It was the first thing I found when i typed that term into google and it's the very first thing written at the top of the wiki. However, this merely interprets, at least to me, as people [the subculture] who are interested in anthropomorphic animal characters with human personalities and characteristics. As in, that alone tells me it is normal, everyday people with a particular interest in something and that "Furry fandom" is in no way a race. Now, upon further reading of the same wiki, i found this fun tidbit I wanted to quote: "The phrases furry lifestyle and furry lifestyler first appeared in July 1996 on the newsgroup alt.fan.furry during an ongoing dispute within that online community. The Usenet newsgroup alt.lifestyle.furry was created to accommodate discussion beyond furry art and literature, and to resolve disputes concerning what should or should not be associated with the fandom; its members quickly adopted the term furry lifestylers, and still consider the fandom and the lifestyle to be separate social entities. They have defined and adopted an alternative meaning of the word furry specific to this group: "a person with an important emotional/spiritual connection with an animal or animals, real, fictional or symbolic."[37] The above quote also does not define "Furry Fandom" as a race, but more instead of a choice to feel a certain way towards a certain thing. It is sad that some people in SL sometimes judge others based solely on avi appearances, yes, I totally agree. But like everyone has the right to make SL their own, they have the right to say: I dont want this or that in my SL. That's just the plain and simple of it. Furry avis are not the only ones who are discriminated against, human avis too, and goodness all the inbetweens. But, there are thousands of sims to pick from and they do not all have the same sorts of rules or regulations. And if it's just one person in particular giving you crap, then block them and move on with life.

I'd recommend starting with something easy, like the skin or a mesh or bento head. Dunno how much experience you have in building an Avi in SL or the money you're willing to put into it, but I'm sure it shouldn't be too terribly hard to put your avi together. A skin I'd personally recommend is *YS&YS* Immortal Skin. I dunno if it has a Catwa head applier, but the ad I'm seeing states it's for a Lelutka head and the shape of the model in it sort of makes me see a resemblance to your image. It's on the Marketplace if you get the chance to check it out. Then from there I'd recommend finding the body for your avi that you want, and a lot of that decision will be based on the shape you're going for and the clothes options. A lot of people like Maitreya because it, I think, has one of the largest clothes collections and seems to be good for overall slimmer figures; Slink and Belleza coming in next. Slink and Belleza have awesome multiple body selections tho if you decide you want a fuller figure after browsing. They all have demos but I think you have to go to each of their stores individually to find them. After you get that down pat, the hair and makeup and dress and accessories you shouldn't have too hard of an issue to find. I can't stress enough how much it means to demo things tho, regardless on if you MP it out or go visit stores in world. And the best advice I can give is to not get discouraged! It can take a lot of patience to build an Avi of your dreams, and a lot of snooping and knowing what key words pull up the direction you want your searching to go, but it should all be a fun process.

Went to the awesome {moss&mink} VIP/new-sim event yesterday, stayed the full time for the party and had a blast! Great music and great people; and the creator and her staff are just the best! Won a few things shown here. ❤️ (Marie Haybales & Dazzle Pumpkins). Then got into the Boho Culture Fair and just fell in loooove with all of it! Threw on one of my fav new outfits from it, a few accessories, then took its sim inspiration to snap a few pics!

So, I changed my head from the M4 Chibi to a Catwa Catya and looove the results. ❤️ Updated the feet and found some cool hand appliers to get the feel I was looking for; however, if anyone knows any tattoo-fades like the ones I'm wearing in black, that would be awesome! I dunno if it's my Maitreya hands or the tattoo applier, but I've edited the images to hide the gaps in the hands as best I could where the tattoo glitches around. >< The ones I have are PMS-Fades Tattoo-Black.
