I did a quick search and couldn't find anything in-world. I just read the theme for the 2020 world environment day is biodiversity. Perhaps we should celebrate by turning our human avatars into different life-forms. I don't know if a furry avatar counts. We need someone to create a Greta Thundberg avatar too.

Thanks for the quick search Bree! Much appreciated :)

Putting on different life form Avi, sounds about right, actually. Furry sounds okay too. It WOULD be awesome if someone created Greta Thunberg Avi indeed.

    Thanks for reaching out!

  2. So yeap, the title is pretty much self explanatory...

Will there be any Event regarding the upcoming World Environmental Day on June 5 ? Any event or tour or gathering...just anything to commemorate the World Environment Day on SL platform?

If there are any, or if anyone individually would like to have a real chat, sharing session or to just have a chuckle about it (well, apparently the chuckle is important when talking about environmental issues to keep us sane)...do let us know over here or IM me in-world. Thank you, as it is much appreciated.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'm looking more for interactive avant-garde-ness than visual art, but that could be a great place to make some connections!

Reading this, it reminded me of https://www.thegbthproject.com/. It is quite indulging on its own way, depending on the artists' potrayal. The last time I went, the scope Artefatos brought in was unique, alongside the others too (I'm not sure if its still there). Another exhibit (sorry, couldn't remember the name of the artist) brought me into a place where it felt like I was in my own calm mind, with the sound effect and all. Maybe you could give this a try😌

Just beautiful. Its art ♥ It speaks ♥

~Sharply, precisely shaped shoes hugging her legs...she looked at the end of it, just down there where the leaves and flowers are rustling her guarded feet. The heavy breeze dancing with her ponytail, the flowers couldn't resist. Flowers swirling her strong, beautiful hair, at the same time making sure never to dull the blonde she has. The greying sky, tinted with red, bringing her the aura of authenticity within the darkness; reminding her soul that her will wouldn't die even if the darkest of hours came by brushing, but make it stronger than ever to see her light.~

I love this! Soo warm and cozy it feels, with the blurred effect you gave on the behind. Have a good time with your kid ^^

  5. Fiascoz, as Adam says, Pod riders group is indeed active and fun. You can see pods so frequently on the mainland roads, sometimes crashing on my bike😂 Lucky enough, the pod isn't solid object, but Phantom.

But I've found my niche within the *Grid Drivers*. I have my freedom to explore, and I have the chances to meet up with people, plus the group is very active and supportive. We have *weekly free and new* hud to explore the grid, usually you'd be meeting people in the start and end point, or on the way.

You'd have *Luke Skywalker's radioshow podcast* specifically tailored for every week's drive, which makes you feel alive for sure, on the way.

Some even *charter* big vehicles, so that others could hop in. Anyhow, you'll need vehicles, but fear not, there are tons of *free vehicles* out there, in GTFO hubs and LCC sail ports.

  6. I liked dancing for once, lol. And I don't regret it at all! Cute place it was, Bri's Beach and some adjoining beach spots. Was beautifully done, and I really enjoyed myself, making a stop in my journey of the Saturday Drive.

After awhile, hung out a bit with my friend Rhea, which made my whole day during this Social Distancing season obviously.

  7. Continuing the Saturday Drive. Starting at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Plio/33/122/45Snapshot_001.thumb.png.1a5821459998f75b58d7408d94ef65f9.png

And I'm thinking on curating some Covid-19 thoughts, and put into a blog or something, the right time to start my all-time idea to blog sustainable systems. Thanks to @Nalates Urriah for the point you said earlier, regarding the reusable cups and stuff, does make a lot of sense yes.

Fingers crossed, I won't get too overwhelmed in the process and stop. Lets stay safe all, all is well ♥

    No words. Just a pic.

"A quaint day. The straw hat hanging on the row of hooks behind the door. It was sunny yet not so promising after all, a grey layer mixed the sky's paint. From my small little cabin, I could see the boat rocking on the soft waves of the lake. The clear water, all alone on its own. Grabbing the hat, I placed it on my head, snuggling into it's comfort. With a deep breath, my legs weren't on land anymore but on the rocking boat with the cool breeze grazing my skin, every moment now and then. I row till shadows of intricately woven patterns could be seen under me. The leaves of the canopy above, a creation of nature so beautiful, allowing rays of sunshine touch my fair skin, without stealing its own shade for me. A trickle on the resting water, the nature's shade is claiming its turn for a hug with the shady canopy, I sensed. But its love could make the others cold sometimes, in comparison. So I gave a little pat of love towards the lake water, whom made way today for me, to experience this nature's beauty."

Sorry, but I had to write this out. Your photo was inspiring as much as it is stunning! Beautiful picture!
