  1. Simone was my Lelutka of choice for a while but my head was turned by Genus, and I never looked back.....πŸ˜‹
  2. Ahhhh....so trying not to "negativise" the thread.....obviously I love compliments, who doesn't. I put a lot of time and effort into my look, so it's always nice to get IM compliments. Even though sometimes they cloak less than honorable motives. Having said that, some of my most interesting one to one exchanges have started with a compliment, and within a few sentences its obvious that this is just a friendly exchange, which ultimately ends and we move on without any friends requests. These exchanges in world are 95% guys. It's also a nice feeling to get my pictures complimented. I put a lot of effort into my art and all artist desire approval. I wish I had more time and skills, but hey! Same feelings about my recent house furnish...not something I've done before. I dabbled with my previous apartments, adding artwork and small pieces of furniture, but not from scratch, so I was beyond pleased with how it turned out! And so it was nice to get some compliments on how it looks. Maybe I'm needy, I dunno. Just going back to the personal compliments, I get the usual stuff, cute Avi, stunning, even goddess once, which is a bit over the top. Guys tend to do this in as few words as possible, only the longer intro hits indicate a potentially better chat. Very occasionally someone will read my profile and relate a similar childhood story, which demonstrates empathy which seems quite rare out there. But there are good people in SL, around every corner. It's why I stay here.πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘©β€πŸ’»

  5. Well Maynard, (takes cover)you'd better stay away from the North of England, where you'll hear it everywhere, every day. Even the Scots do it to some extent.......again, regionalised. πŸ˜›
  6. Huh???? Twilight Hour 》》》》》》》 Witching Hour
  7. Yes. The accents and customs across Yorkshire are diverse. Even between Leeds, Sheffield, Harrogate, Halifax and so on. Each is distinctive, and ten to fifteen miles makes a difference. Lancashire is also regional but totally different. But it takes a Northern ear to detect all this. "Southerners" only hear it all as "Northern".........and often confuse a Yorkshire accent with a Lancashire one.
  8. Love is a Yorkshire term, used everywhere without malice or any other intent. The one which really gets under my skin is "dear"... For some reason I find that condescending and patronising.....like I'm an old dear...... Fingernails down a blackboard for me.
  9. Working the prim limit is something fresh to me, but I have to say that 175 is testing for a real world set of facilities. Right now I've sacrificed a kitchen to have a dining room set with anim, but I'll keep looking and get there sometime. My old wine cabinet was insane on prims so it had to go, but I have to have wine and cheese in my house because it defines who I am πŸ˜›

  11. Haha! 1st RULE: You do not talk about FIGHT CLUB. 2nd RULE: You DO NOT talk about FIGHT CLUB.
  12. I did hear about a Swingers Club where you were invited to join after your Avi was approved, but I don't know if it costs money. Honestly I don't. Really. Just what I was told.......I'm not a swinger, for the avoidance of doubt......πŸ€”πŸ˜›
  13. Press lightly under my pants??? Oo-errr RISKY Oh shoot..... JOLLY.......Just Operating Like Lindens, Y'all RISKY>>>>
  14. If it's technically possible there should be a pay to upgrade option then. I dont need any more space but I would like a kitchen. Just for the look. I'm very happy with this house and I really don't get why most here are empty. Having said that there's no lag.
  15. Most of the houses are empty so we might end up neighbors!!
  16. I finally took up a Linden Home. I don't crave Bellissaria, I'm just happy with an old house, but what has amazed me is that most houses on my parcel are empty. I've enjoyed furnishing this place and I'm very happy with how it looks. But I reached the prim limit before I could add a kitchen, and so far I've not found any information about how I might increase my prim limit? Maybe that's not possible. Anyway, on a deserted sim there's no lag, so I'm quite happy living in a solitary neighborhood….
