I’m thinking maybe I’ll put in a stage and buy a bunch of instrument like drums, and find players, and a singr.... never mind... whew 😥... my ADD is acting up again... DJ is fine.

I was 15 pgs behind and just spent the last hour getting caught up. Ahem... woe, that was intense reading. Into my third year posting into this forum and in just a weeks time it all seems to be going to 💩 . Anyway, I think Belinda is correct. Let’s get back to posting your photos, and appreciating the efforts of others. I think the tons of chit chat is spammy, and outright full on public arguments is simply disrespectful to all of us who have contributed thousands of photographs with kindness and generosity of spirit. My suggestion 1- post photos of your avatar! 2- take disagreements private to the forum email- please don’t argue in a public! That’s trailer trash stuff (sorry trailer non-trashy ppl) 3- the spirit here was always a community that is supportive, caring and friendly. Remember the whole “do unto others” bit? 4- please don’t spam the thread with off topic Conversations or nonsensical comments. I counted one contributor here who posted 11 of the 25 posts... that’s seriously spamming and they were all were reposts?!? Really 😡 (you know who you are) 5- To the newbies here... go back to any page from 1-1,000 and just scroll through a few pages to get a feeling for what the thread was like. Then post/play like that. this thread has been going strong for 3 years and starting year 4 in May2020... a shame to let it die. Like Eva said, mods have threatened to close the thread once before. I know this has been reposted several times already but... seriously great photo Laika! I’m trying to figure out how much post editing, if any, there’s is??? Also, where is this sim with the dead flat ocean and the lovely reflections... wow 😯! The colors, the hat, your reflections and shadow in the water... love everything about it. @BeautifulXu I finally kinda get what so frustrating for you. This forum is a companion community to Secondlife. There is no way in this forum to create or photograph your avatar. Secondlife is a 3D animated online world where you engage with it through an avatar... look for the main SL portal and signup / join. I believe you can join for free. Lots of tutorials on YouTube and blogs throughout the internet about it. What you see on this forum are hundreds of people like me who created avatars and like to take photos of “ourselves” and post them here, as a way to connect up with others within the Secondlife community though specific interests like technology or photography etc... I hope this clarifies things for you! ~ Sara

So @BeautifulXu & @beautifulxu7.... I’m assuming you both are one and the same. I’m also guessing very young and new. So, The theme of this thread that’s been running about 3 years now, with many of us posting here for years, is “how does your avatar look today?” Lots and lots of posting (11 in 3 pages) yet I haven’t seen any postings of you! Please, instead of reposting with inane nonsensical comments, just post photos of your avatar. I’m confident that you will find here a more than welcoming community. Three or four word comments that are just random brain farts don’t add any value to the poster nor to you yourself. It simply spams the thread for the sake of needing to be noticed. That’s why you’re not getting any likes... what’s to like? My personal request is to stop spamming and just post photos of your avatar. Simple 🙂
