SL on MacBook Pro Laptop
I have never played SL before. I have a 3 yr old Macbook Pro Laptop purchased new from Apple UK.
I loaded the SL Viewer ok and set up a paid account and got started. After 15mins of play, the laptop got very hot and operations slowed down.
I logged out and waited until laptop cooled down. I added more spacing under laptop to allow more air circulation. After 20 mins, I got the BSCD and shut down.
I tried again the next day and the same happened. This is very disappointing. I am reluctant to try again. I am not a expert on hard or software in computers.
I wonder if anyone has had experienced similar computer issues? Reading all the blogs, it seems that many people do and the selection of the appropriate computer is paramount.
I am thinking that I should get a higher spec windows gaming laptop ? What is best spec?
Any advice on this issue will be gratefully received as I need to escape my Real World!!
Many Thanks Mike
