  1. How much LI allowance does the land have, and how big is the land you're renting?
  2. So I've seen this hair in multiple places, usually used in J-fash/kawaii styles or by Japanese users way back in the day before mesh was a big thing. First time I saw it I fell in love. Couldn't find the creator... but I finally found out who made it: *DP*yumyum. This creator is still around and makes modern mesh hairs! I even found some other hairs by them they made a long time ago which are super cute too. Great news... so I pop into their in-world store. ...No old hairs to be found. Nada. Zero. None!!! You can't believe how devastated I was. And I know what you're thinking... "Why would you want an old, out-dated, flexi prim hair in the year 2020?" Maybe... just maybe... I secretly enjoy out-dated flexi hair.. How embarrassing. Anyways, does anyone have ANY idea where I could get my grubby little hands on *DP*yumyum's old work? Especially this hair... If it's not on the MP, and it's not in the in-world store, I'm guessing it's gone forever (aside from the old players who have it in their inventory, but surely it's no-trans). But maybe someone knows another source for it? Pics attached of the specific hair I so desperately crave..
  3. After tons of tinkering my shape, I think I'm finally happy with how my avatar's face looks!
  4. Primarily, hair. It's difficult to find hair in styles I like - some of the styles I find that I like are prim and outdated - and so much modern mesh hair is extremely westernized which just isn't my style even if it's beautiful on other avatars. I'd be willing to pay up to 800 L$ for the perfect hair. And I like to switch my hairstyle up often, so having tons of hairstyles to choose from is pretty important to me. On occasion I'll pay tons for clothes I really like, but I don't really like to do that too often.
  5. To be honest, I doubt an actual SL sugar daddy/mommy on these forums will choose you out of a sea of girls, almost all having very attractive avatars, desperate for free stuff (seriously, "LF sugar daddy" posts are everywhere). It's just.. likely not going to happen. You'd be better off looking in-world at specific groups or communities. You'll surely get lots of Splenda daddies in your IMs, though.
  6. I spent a few hours yesterday re-doing my avatar after coming back here to SL and found a cozy little location.
  7. You probably won't find a domme into ABDL here on the forums, unfortunately. There's quite a few in-world ABDL and sissy (which can often overlap with ABDL) communities, may I suggest there? Try out some groups or ABDL locations. You could try a BDSM-oriented location which would definitely be more populated - but since ABDL isn't the focus there, there's no guarantee you'd find a woman (who's also a domme or switch, and not an AB/little) into ABDL. I'd say try DDLG locations, but I'm assuming you, or your avatar, is male, and they are incredibly focused on LGs and daddies, rather than LBs and mommies - and most of the DDLG crowd on SL draws a line at the whole pampers thing. You could always pay an escort who'd be willing to partake in that if you really crave it.
  8. Me and my little chatterbox fingers!! >.< Figured I'd give some advice if OP is genuinely interested in exploring SL photography (and commissions) haha. Removed the pic from my quote not to fill the thread too much I think it looks quite nice - not sure if it's compression or the camera you're using, but the quality isn't top-notch (this isn't really in your control unless it's a filter choice, which is totally understandble. If not, it might be compression, might be the camera's settings, lens, or the camera itself). Luckily SL will render photos in highest quality especially when saved in a very high file size. The focus on the flowers is very pretty and the colors go well together. What I am noticing is that it doesn't appear there's been any editing done on it such as color adjustment. Little things like that can help a picture really shine and bring out some beautiful details. Some fiddling with photoshop can improve pictures like that - but it's a very good start as a base! But as I said, SL and portrait photography are whole new skill-sets to learn, and beginners can rarely make money right away. Go out there and take some nice pictures if your PC allows for it! Maybe try out an editing program to play around with small adjustments, filters, etc (Photoshop costs money, and I'm not going to suggest pirating - but there's several free websites and programs that allow for tiny adjustments.) Practice and experience will get you where you want to be. It certainly has a learning curve and does require a little talent but I think anyone can learn SL, or RL photography if they try their best.
  9. Just to give my two cents with the experience I have.. Photography commissions absolutely exist within SL, but from what I've seen, the most popular style is an artistic style for profile pics/avatar shots, which is drawn or painted over in an editing or art program. This not only requires experience in the program of choice, but also with color theory and digital art/painting, using proper windlights, camera angles, etc. There's definitely other styles out there, which could be done almost entirely inside SL with a little bit of photoshop, but still requires skill with editing and windlight choice. Green-screening can be a huge pain (It certainly has been for me, even with anti-aliasing) but the alternative is paying for back drops. There are also commissions revolving around events, such as weddings, but these also require experience - and most people will only hire someone who is experienced for this (or a photographer who comes bundled in a wedding package provided by a wedding planner. Getting hired by a marriage company is pretty difficult for photography due to portfolio and experience requirements.) I worked in-game for a photography studio as a sales rep for a very long time, and the hiring requirements for photographers were super high. I even spent some time working on artistic portraits. I worked IRL with a real professional photography studio for about a year doing the editing myself while assisting my boss who took the photos for clients, so I have a bit of experience in both. People are pretty unlikely to pay for mediocre work... which isn't a bad thing - almost all beginners are fairly mediocre at first. SL photography is very different from RL photography, although things like editing in PS, good lighting, and color theory remain the same. Also... food and nature photography is absolutely beautiful and requires its own set of skills - but portrait photography is much, much different and would require learning a new skill set (going off what you already have, of course) What I suggest is doing some free, or cheap, work to build a portfolio and practice. Practicing is vital here and few people will even consider a photographer or editor without a portfolio (Just as people here are unlikely to hire a manager with no experience, or unlikely to hire a freebie newb avatar for an escort club.) You could even just try taking photos of your own avatar or your friends and work on them and experiment, that's what I did. Keep in mind that most photographers who do commissions in SL have spent years doing this, building up giant portfolios and increasing their skill level significantly over time. It's unrealistic to think that as a beginner, one could jump into the commission business unless it's a "SL photography prodigy" situation. And keep in mind it should be done because it's fun or interesting to you, not just to make some money off commissions - it'll ultimately make you miserable... I've been there in other situations.
  10. Go to your preferences and under graphics turn up the "Avatar complexity" setting

  12. Hi, my name is Takemasa! I'm an avid lover of lolita fashion, kawaii fashion, Japanese music, and all things cute. I love taking photographs and editing them with painted on details, it's my favorite activity now in SL. In RL, I'm a lolita (fashion-wise, not the book) and big fan of jyojifuku (I can talk about this all day long - no one knows what it is outside of Japan!) I work as a photography studio's assistant. My schedule tends to be pretty erratic and unpredictable, but I'm still available everyday for several hours on SL. (EST) I'm a pretty shy person because I have social anxiety... well, it depends. Once I meet someone, I can talk a LOT. But when it comes to initiating conversation, I can't really do it at all! I worry about bothering the other person and scaring them off. My avatar is also dressed quite cutesy, which I think puts a lot of people off outside of other lovers of cute things. I've always struggled making friends in SL since I don't do well with groups and I would like to have some to spend time with, chat with, shop with, or allow me to take and edit a million pictures of them for fun (or together- that's even better!) I love all things revolving around Japan. I love cutesy idol anime, music (from heavy visual kei to cute j-pop and vocaloid), games, and most of all, fashion. I can talk about pretty much anything though! I like to think I'm pretty down to earth and open with conversation despite my anxiety. I guess I'm just rambling at this point, but I'd love to meet some friends here. Feel free to IM me or leave me a notecard in-world (takemasaa Resident) or reply to this post and I'll IM you! Thank you for your time, I hope to find some valuable friendships here. Attached is a photo of my avatar! I love changing outfits and taking pictures.
  13. Hello! My name is Takemasa. I took a long break from SL recently and have returned and have really gotten into editing photos. I am interested in building my portfolio, as all I've been taking so far is pictures of myself and my partner. This means I am open for entirely free portraits, with all the details up to you! (Tips are greatly appreciated!) I use Paint Tool Sai for painted on details (hair, shading, etc) with a tablet and photoshop to edit colors and add backgrounds. I am very proficient with Sai as I have been an artist almost all of my life, using the program for almost 9 years! I work as a photography studio assistant in RL, which means I have lots of editing photos to do as my job, so I am also quite skilled with Photoshop and continue to learn as I become more experienced with my job. I have no limitations - the portrait is entirely up to you. Pose, style, background, whatever you can think of! It can be fullbody, halfbody, or a headshot. I can shoot on-location or with a green-screen background (Located in my humble, currently a bit empty abode). I am able to provide poses, however for on-location shoots it is best that you have your own pose ready. (I am even happy to pay for a pose for you if you'd like as a thank you for helping me build my portfolio! Just let me know.) I am completely flexible for whatever your needs are. This offer is entirely first come, first serve. I would only like to take on about 10 clients at a time (which will be monitored with a queue). Being able to edit photos and make people happy means a lot to me as well as building my portfolio. If you are interested in a free artistic portrait, please check out my Flickr for examples: https://www.flickr.com/people/182059718@N06/ Please contact me inworld at takemasaa Resident if you are interested, reply to this post, or message me privately here, and I will send a message your way in-world. Attached is an example of what my work looks like before and after editing it. I appreciate your time and I would love to do a portrait for you! Please send me a message in-world or a reply to this thread and I would be happy to assist you. If you are a fellow photographer or studio interested in working with me, please contact me as well. Again, my contact is takemasaa Resident in world. Thank you for your time.

  15. I sent you a message ingame but I'm pretty much in the same boat. I don't get along with many people, mostly because I feel like I don't fit in anywhere. I'd love to get to know you. Maybe we can be less lonely in SL together!
