    July 10.

I thought was the date they were officially 'releasing' more. Patch's statement didn't say anything about concierge service...
Thank you for the clarification. :)

  3. Does anybody know if the concierge system is available for ranch homes? I cannot get a location I like with even ground, all the front+back yards are uneven and it is extremely frustrating trying to find one that is what I need.

Soon is so last year. Didn’t Patch say he wasn’t even going to say it anymore - at the SL19B ‘Meet the Moles’? It’s a cursed word. Like S!m/Region.
Honestly, I’m just excited to hear the announcements, so I’m not putting much expectations on it other than hoping to hear More Good Things (like the news of the Smokefest event)…but if pressed, I’d say I’m probably more excited about the potential for NUX avatars being imminent even though I’m terribly curious about the P+ homes too, and…planning how to be fast enough to snag one!

I am really, really hoping so. This week alone I've gotten the closest I have ever wanted to get to *fully* decorating a linden home and it still looks good. But alas, I am down to the last 14 prim and I still have things I would like to add. I really don't get how you guys do it for 351, I am forever struggling.

  5. :/ Pls tell me the 2048 homes are coming. I've been trying to comb over the mainland for days and I can't find anything I can afford... the prices are incredibly insane for a mainland parcel

Be a glass-half-full person.... on the bright side, you've had a the option for a Linden Home on Bellisseria for nearly 1500 days.

Wow.  I knew that SLs appeal covers the Baby Boomers, but you have been waiting for Premium Plus homes for over 656 million years?  Since that predates SL by a fair amount, that must mean you can see the future...so can't you tell us when the new homes will be released?

And what was it like watching life evolve?  Did you get to hang out with any cool dinosaurs?

One thing we have learned is that patience clearly does not come with age.

Do you guys not know what sarcasm is? O.o

I was wondering if the next theme (2048) will be private islands! Because of the Gilligan thing, LOL!

I would be so game for this.

The economic harm would primarily be to those in SL who offer rentals.  One of the primary benefits of renting parcels on mainland or private estates is that the LI allowances are often very generous.  If the LI allowances in Linden Homes reach a point where they are directly competing with rentals, then it potentially impacts the SL economy and eventually, the LL revenue stream.

There were already a lot of complaints from some land owners when Bellisseria opened because so many people decided that a Linden Home was finally nice enough that keeping a rental on the side was no longer necessary for one's Second Lifestyle.

For LL to make money, and thus for SL to continue existing, all forms of land ownership need to remain economically viable.  As others have stated many times, the Linden Homes available to Premium account holders were initially intended to be starter  homes.  The overwhelming success of Bellisseria has called that statement into question, but the sentiment remains that they are not supposed to be the pinnacle of SL home/land ownership, even if they fill that need for some.

Okay but not everybody is going to run to linden homes when they can get a better deal renting - I feel like this point is kind of invalid, just saying. I just want 2048 homes because decorating with 351 prims is impossible to use good furniture without the rest of house being bare.

Please refer back to this post.

Economic... harm? how? this makes absolutely no sense. I feel like most of us would be getting a better value for our premium plus membership we are paying for....?

One of the best ways to get a mainland parcel in the size that you want and for an affordable price (usually L$1 per sqm) is to find some abandoned land in an area that you like and put in a request to purchase a parcel of the size that you want.

There's a knowledge base article about abandoned land which includes a section on how to request buying abandoned land:

even if it's somewhat affordable, some of us cannot spare the extra money, so having a home included with the membership is how we get by.

This is still true and proven in what we track.  The lifecycle of a new (premium) user in large, significant percentages start with a Linden Home, outgrow it and want more.  They move on into the larger land ecosystem to mainland, private estates/rentals.

Not if you can't afford it. Some of us are comfortable with our little linden homes, we just want the premium plus ones we're paying for, considering you can't find an affordable piece of mainland these days.

I've seen posts on the Forum by Lindens, saying that there is no way to increase the LI for a region.

You'd think that would not be such a big deal!

I mean, I kind of call lies on this... full sims used to only be able to have about 20k land impact, and now in this day in age,  your average sim has 30k... If i'm not mistaken, it's just a change in coding, since everything is done digitally.

Yes, at P+ introduction you indeed should have signed up only if the offered benefits were of value to you personally, and at renewal time you should think of it the same way.  LL specifically said so when P+ was introduced.  Because there are many for whom P+ makes sense, refunding P+ to all members would be both confusing and not necessary. I think you simply may not be in the target market for P+ --  I know I'm not, so I didn't sign up for it.

P+ at introduction seemed to be a good deal for many creators, and adding Speedlight fee reduction has made the package even more appealing for inworld merchants who often need to dash inworld to tweak this or that.  Yes, LL IS doing their own mobile client; to me their willingness to partner to immediately provide lowcost mobile for P+ members speaks volumes about their commitment to users.

There's a lot of low-hanging fruit that LL could do to make life more profitable for inworld merchants.  Here's one, @Patch Linden : make available for purchase unique identifiers for brands.  Each such identifier should be linkable to one or more inworld locations by the user.  And these brand identifiers should also be able to be linked to a marketplace store, so that when a store changes or adds an inworld location, links to  all inworld locations are automatically updated in their listings.  P+ could lessen or eliminate such fees.

Implementing this would require coordination between LL's inworld and web development teams.  My services as a program manager are available on a contract basis. 😎

Exactly what you said, P+ seems like a good deal for creators.  The rest of us just want a bigger linden home, because some of us can not afford the luxuries of full sims, renting, or owning a homestead. We kind of rely on that linden home factor. Yes you can go get mainland, but that's if you can find a piece that's A.) The right size. B.) Isn't being scalped to ridiculous prices for a piece of mainland. Like seriously, c'mon.

Support will be able to assist with your account, I had the team put a process in place to handle the requests, including refunds.

I am not going to leak anything further on theme for now.  I have put out plenty of teasers and there are many guesses here on the forums as to what it might be.

There's been vague screenshots with corners of rooms and a few windowsill designs... that doesn't exactly scream 'theme reveal' to most of us, especially those of us with mental handicaps that don't allow us to understand things, especially riddles. :/

What I'm seeing here again, is the overboard negative tone I was speaking to.  Bait and switch?  A year?   I announced premium plus during SLB June of last year.  I mentioned we would try our very best to have a premium plus home option by the end of the year (another 6 months later) and warned it was aspirational.  We are currently a few months beyond end of year by my calendar, not a full year since we said we would deliver homes, as that was never promised.  We've apologized numerous times for being a bit late, but as I've always maintained we refuse to put something out that we do not feel is ready.  As I've mentioned prior, please do contact support for a refund of your Premium Plus membership if you have one and feel you are not getting the value from it.

I understand that premium plus was original aimed towards creators, and let’s say I did contact support only for them to tell me there’s nothing they can do regarding my membership. I am thankful for the extra perks, yes… I just feel like as a consumer I am not taking advantage of them due to it being more creator based luxuries. Honestly though, we haven’t even heard a word of what the theme could be, which would at least be good news as holdover so we know what we have to look forward to. 🥺
