So, I was doing some inventory ordering, when I put on one of my outfits...and then THIS happened. I have a HUD with a few skin colors, all other colors look ok, but the color I usually wear looks like this now. Also my eyes look weirs...same, few colors on the HUD, only my favorite gone nuts. I asked people inword, seems like they see me ok. What can I do to see myself normal again? Please, help!

Thanks for answers! Well, I tried to clear basically everything in Catwa head. I managed to clear the shadows above my eyes - it was something from eyebrows, but mustache won't go and yes, it is seen also on other skins. Well, I have to admit, it is not very much noticeable on different light settings, at Insol store is just very bright light that shows every imperfection

So I have a Catwa Catya bento head and I was trying on some new skins, when I noticed some strange shadow above my upper lip. The new skin's lips are sitting a bit lower than 3D border of Catya's head...I rited to play with head's settings, but no luck. Anybody know if it can be removed? Thank you in advance!

General thoughts on the matter...most of the clothes in SL nowadays are very short/open/sexy/*****ty...it's a general trend. Also most female avatars (male sometimes also, but less) are dressed...well, not as they would dress in RL. The question for it - what's your reasons? Is it the limited choice in the stores, personal preference, your partner likes u dressed like that? Another question - do u expect to attract opposite sex and any romantic/sexual inworld interaction by wearing very little? Do u sometimes get offended by men hitting on you too explicitly when u dressed like that?

I have a quick question. When I wear my mesh ears, I can see them clearly on the close ups, but even a bit of distance make me look earless (the kind of distance when I see all of me). If I change the graphic settings to the highest level, the distance is a bit bigger when the ears still visible. Is there something else, that I missing? I use standard SL viewer with latest update. Thanks in advance!

Thanks everybody for participation and sharing the deep stuff. Didn't expect to so many answers to it I'll answer the questions myself too: 1. Do you keep SL apart from RL? Are you open about RL with people in SL? Do you tell your RL friends about SL? I care for my identity, will never go to skype/ Facebook, etc. out of SL. I do share some parts of my RL to some extent. In RL few people know about me being on SL, and most of them don’t know what it is really, 2 of them tried it themselves in the past. Anyway, I don’t share too many details. 2. Do you act very differently in SL than in RL? More outgoing, more talkative, willing to try more things. But overall, it’s pretty much me, I think. I try also not to hurt any one and act with respect. 3. Do you spend a lot of time in SL? Do you think you can spend less time, if RL demands it? Do you think SL is addictive? For me it is addictive, but I have it for all kind of other things too, I can be addicted to Sims 3, or some cool computer game. I just LOVE nice 3D graphics. And yes, I spend less time if I have stuff in RL. 4. Do you think SL affected or changed your RL self? In a good or in a bad way? Wasn’t there enough to tell. But it is a window for new experiences and learning about different cultures, which is cool. 5. Do you think SL only relationship can be considered as an RL adultery? Can you manage both relationship without getting in trouble? I wouldn’t do both, seems wrong to me. 6. What is the most important thing there is about SL for you? Meeting interesting people from all over the world, I wouldn’t be able to do it otherwise. Hearing new music, learning new things. And of course, looking cool and customization ? I just love this stuff, can spend hours on it ) 7. Do you think a lot about things that happened in SL when you are offline? For now, yes, but it’s still fresh for me after 8.5 years of pause. I think it will gradually calm down.
