  1. I have seen a few posts in forums bringing that up, I honestly don't remember where. But there are a few suspects that constantly bring it up. And since it's against TOS to name them.
  2. Yep. Specifically in clubs. They put these standards onto everyone, like if you go to an SL club. You must chat and interact in local. And get mad at people for not doing that and just chatting with their friends in private or even coming by themselves and dancing and enjoying the music. But don't realize if they want people to chat in local, maybe they should just initiate it.
  3. It would be like people getting mad at people going to an RL Bar with a group of friends and interacting with them. And someone gets mad that this group of people is not interacting with everyone else.
  4. But I mean, you have people getting all offended at people who come to SL clubs to just listen to the music escape and dance. And they don't talk at all. Not everyone is coming to clubs to interact and make new friends, some just go there because they want to enjoy the music and escape.
  5. Like do you mean the small medium and large meshes?
  6. It's a win-win for both LL and creators alike.
  7. It's optional, and if they refused they won't get visibility. It's that simple. They are not gonna ask everyone to review or audit their item. And I was talking to Patch on Disc earlier, he stated that this is to help elevate the creator and potentially be a part of something bigger.
  8. They legally can't do that, those are your meshes and textures. LL would get into huge trouble for doing that, as they would be breaking their own TOS specifically when it comes to DMCA and copybotting.
  9. Well all other Mesh Bodies do that, they expect an inworld store or even an MP. I don't think that is any different. Yes if it had an open source license. That is not the case. Ruth was open-source, so you were free to grab the dev kit.
  10. I would say that part is very BS. I have seen so many creators I have never heard of at Shop and hop, heck I even helped close friends to get in. By giving them the app. They got in, and they are smaller creators.
  11. Again, we don't know that for sure. I would say that it more has to do with them inspecting how simplistic did you make your folder layout. Especially for new users.
  12. I get that. And all that should be addressed in a more detailed post. I mean they usually do address that. But with all these off topic posts and the doom and gloom from one specific user. It really doesnt help with the confusion and anger. I think it is just best for all of us, to just wait until they address this in full. Then all may be revealed.
  13. I am not saying people can't be mad. But I do think the Lindens need to make another post, to really clear this out. As we can see people are already mad and confused. Which is creating conspiracy theories around the body and it's dev kit. I would love to see LL create anothet post to better explain it all
  14. No they are not. Your reading comprehension is abysmal. It says avatar item. Meaning items in your inventory.
  15. Um it says avatar item. So they cannot demand your psds daes or colladas. They can only ask for the folder in your inventory. Again it says avatar item.
  16. They just want the items you uploaded to SL. They don't want the blender and photoshop files. So if you make a makeup and upload it. They want to see the folder from SL. So they can see if it meets their standards of how they asked you to put the folder together.
  17. I don't think that is the case, I think they are doing it. So they can make sure that the folders the items for the Senra body is as simple as possible for new users.
  18. It does make sense. SL can be overwhelming at the best of times for us experienced users. Imagine what it's like for a new user, especially if they are thrown into the metaphorical lions den. When it comes to the actual mesh bodies and clothes they have to unpack.
  19. Look at this from this point of view, especially for some people who joined when we had rigged mesh. So you open your package and see a bunch of different sizes, for a new user that would be overwhelming. I mean even as a long-time user, especially after a shopping spree it can get overwhelming to go through and unpack everything. Then take a few minutes to delete everything. They want to Keep it as simple as possible for the new user, even down to how a creator puts together the folder.
  20. We don't know that part, so don't say that. You may create a panic for no reason.
  21. I think they are doing this approval method, to see if the creators are following the guidelines of how they packed their items. That being said, I totally understand the frustration. But I can also see why they are doing this. As they are trying to make this as simplistic as possible for new users. So by reviewing to see if you followed the packing standards. They are ultimately helping the new user.
  22. Well today is Maintenance day, so they could have made a whoopsie and rolled it right back.
  23. Good news everyone!!! New SL photos of me, Yaay!!! I hopes you guys enjoy 💚
