  1. Still I say to make the naysayers happy, that there should be an electrical fence thingy at parcel lines, if people choose to turn it on. But only up to a certain height, then you hit ban lines or people can use an orb
  2. So basically LL would be able to control how we use our orbs? I honestly don't get that. I mean that would be like letting the government have full control of our security systems. And I mean again it is really up to the user of the Orb how they feel the person should be dealt with. But your solution isn't reasonable, give LL total control over what we can and can't do with our orbs. I mean yeah there could be some sort of common courtesy. But I for one don't want LL having control over my Orb and how I choose to set it.
  3. So basically what you are saying, is people should be able to freely explore your land on Mainland or anywhere, without the express consent of the owner who owns it? Especially if its your private land.
  4. The one thing that bugs me, is how the right to privacy is somehow not relevant in a virtual world.
  5. I hate when people create videos of them just blatantly walking into someone elses house to check it out. Like they don't ask, and they don't seem to have any sort of boundaries. They just come right in.
  6. Maybe have it when you go near it acts like it electrifies you. Lol. So jiggles your screen around and everything if you step onto someones property. After a while it would get annoying and deter them.
  7. Than LL has to overhaul their current rendering system.
  8. That is what I meant, High Poly and SL don't mix. So when you have creators who don't optimize their mesh, it can get kinda annoying and laggy.
  9. I just want my orb to play nyan cat on repeat until the person leaves. And this version would be bass boosted and distorted. Lol
  10. Not gonna lie, I wish the lab would hold creators accountable for not optimizing their items. I mean video game companies don't even use overly high poly items in their games.
  11. It is kinda ironic eh. But no I think in most cases people aren't going into someone elses house and looking around. they are exploring mainland when bam they hit that orb and get sent back home and their plane or boat gets lost on mainland.
  12. But still I know lots of people fly planes on mainland and I would think it would be nice to give us fair warning and time to exit. But that is only my opinion.
  13. I thought it had to be 15 seconds maximum, before it kicked you out. Especially for people who are flying on mainland and accidentally hit one of them.
  14. I mean with them hiring people to do meshing and texturing. Specifically for Avatars, skins and makeups. I hope they have a new SL mesh body. Kinda like the mesh bodies today.
  15. NGL I like the current setup as it is, I am not getting on the VR bandwagon. No matter what.
  16. Doesn't mean that everyone will want to be a part of this or can. I have motion sickness when I put on 3D Glasses or even VR headsets. I am not making myself nauseous to join in on the fun. If it is required to use VR headsets to do that, then I am saying sayonora.
  17. I don't know, I am not okay with that. Especially if they admire it, so they are okay with it. Usually means that they are okay with doing the same thing or that they have the potential to do the same thing.
  18. I was saying that during an interview with Justin Trudeau he admitted to admiring the Dictatorship style of China, when it comes to their environment. The fact that a running PM admires a dictatorship is absolutely scary. I mean Republicans are allowed to have a conference. That isn't scary. What do you want to happen exactly?
  19. I am saying none of its Good. When a government proudly admits looking up to another country for their dictatorship style, when it comes to environmental issues. That is scary, and he shouldn't be in power.
  20. My Dad actually told me that it was okay for me to cry, before I came out trans. That it was okay for me to talk about my feelings. Even as a boy. He would do it too, to try and set a good example for me. So I mean I was raised with a man who wasn't afraid to show his emotions or to cry.
  21. I mean trying to live in Canada, Europe, or even the UK where our government has more power.
  22. Well not everyone goes on a rampage or retaliates as they do. But I mean societally men and boys are taught to hide their feelings. So if you get bullied you are not to talk about it and just move on. I am a trans MTF and throughout school I was called a girl or a baby for talking about my feelings or telling people I was getting bullied. It never made me snap, as I had my dad to go to to talk about it. But I don't know what would happen if my dad wasn't in the picture, and that scares me.
  23. In most school shootings, the kids were bullied to the point they snapped or they had ***** parents. A good example, the Uvalde shooter had an abusive mother and was bullied. I mean I would like to see better and more accessible mental health supports for troubled youth and adults.
  24. There is something definitely wrong with the US government, if you need a ministry of truth to basically regulate what happens on the internet. I mean we deal with that here in Canada, us Canadians are getting fed up with Trudeau. I mean yeah he has done some good. But some of his bills come off tyrannical.
  25. What I mean parents can't solely rely on TVs tablets Computers or Consoles to do that for them. I mean the number of kids with devices is ridiculous. I am not saying watch them 24/7. But make sure they monitor what they are doing on their devices. Put some sort of app or program that does it or blocks them from certain sites. I am not blaming the lack of parenting to the reason for Mass shootings. And actually, Norway tops the charts for mass shootings. But that is beyond the point. Parents seem to rely on devices to watch their kids.
