Hi Lindal, I agree that it may not be firestorm at all. But I do have high hopes for the latest update just released. Alas, I won’t have an opportunity to install it until next week to find out. I also run firestorm on my iMac so the anti virus software is built in and there’s no task manager as such. The trouble I have with voice is that it is very unclear and very garbled - only just understandable. I have fiddled with all settings to no avail. And outside SL/firestorm it works perfectly well eg Skype, discord, hangouts etc. I came across a thread linked to users of voice and Macs some weeks ago which was very useful. Having lost all voice following a firestorm update, the thread explained how to restore it. It worked but has been less than perfect ever since. Thanks, Ricardo

My offline messages also seem to be working ok - IMs, group notices etc

One thing I and others rate highly when we consider offering friendship is a good profile. I note yours is still empty which is understandable as a newbie. But I'd recommend you work on it as a priority. Add a nice pic, keep it simple at first and build it up over time.

For the moment I'm quite keen to focus on using the SL voice facility and discord for general chat, but for sure something to consider in the future. Will be in touch in due course. Hello Everyone, As a mature, native English speaker and keen SL voicer, I've often been asked to help improve the spoken English of those I chat to. I have always been happy to assist when I have had the time and realise that many folk could benefit from simple, 1-on-1 English conversation in short sessions. Recently, I was approached to consider providing a more formal level of assistance on a business basis. So in response to popular demand, I'm now delighted to offer casual voice chat sessions covering an agreed subject and at a suitable location in SL. As I am in the early stages of establishing a modest business I am happy to offer my sessions for a nominal fee of L$299 per half hour. I remember the museum well. It was beautifully and accurately put together and an excellent source of information. So sad when it disappeared. Hi Skell - thanks for this. This is where you find out just how non technical I am I had in fact seen these appliers but thought that I would need one specifically for the Gianni body. Is that not the case? if not, would it therefore be simple case of matching the head with the nearest body and somehow try to fuse the colors of my Aeros head neck with the new body? Very grateful for your and readers' assistance.

Alas it looks like there is no Aeros applier for the signature Gianni body which is my favourite choice so will cast the search net a bit wider. Thanks again for you help and if there are any other aeros Maxwell owners out there also looking to upgrade, i'd be interested in getting together and pooling our knowledge

Hi there - I have an Aeros Maxwell 'mature' avatar and am thinking of upgrading to mesh. Am quite keen to keep my head and have looked only at Signature Gianni bodies so far. Am not technically minded so thought I would ask if anyone has upgraded their Maxwell and if so, what did you choose by way of upgrade body? Thanks in advance! Ricardo
