Mischief Managed is a Harry Potter RP sim based on the books and features Hogwarts. 

[What can’t you wear, have or not wear on a G sim?]

If you wouldn't wear it in front of your 80 year old grandma then probabvly don't wear it to a G-sim. Similarly, I avoid A rated sims like the plague. 

Funnily enough, the bigger problem, IMO, is people who treat M sims like adult ones.

Unfortunately the same is true in SL. It's very rare that a man will IM me but when they do I always groan. Inievtiably you get things like "You're good looking," etc after the inital hi. Usually followed by me blocking them.

I've never played an adult male or female so I can't speak from that side, but I have a lot of experience of talkin to people as a child avatar so perhaps I can offer a unique perspective? 

I find that lots of female avis are happy to chat, I assume because there is no implicit threat? My guess is that more women would chat with men if they didn't feel pressured or under threat etc? 

As for men. Most men absolutely ignore kid avis unless they're with a significant other who is already chatting to you, and then it's more out of 'being polite,' or humoring if you know what I mean? 

It's interesting, isn't it? Women chat because there is no threat, men do not because there is nothing to gain and when they do it's because there's something to lose if they don't?

[What is there to do in SL?]

Another thing not mentioned is family. Families in SL take many different forms. Some people will be adopted into families even as adult avis or use pregnancy huds to have babies such as Zoobys. 

There are even people such as myself who play child avatars who have families.

Got a lovely picture of Viola Mole! She even turned into her pretty kitty form and went near some pretty flowers. Then she said I should be in the picture too!

I was there today! Me and my mom sailed over from my linden home which is only a couple of sim's away from the fairgrounds. I had no idea it was there! We just saw all the green dots and got curious lol.

I started off in 2017 with a mesh body but normal SL head, upgrded my head to Catwa in 2019 and lately I've updated my head to Letlutka and now utilize BOM for my skin too.

It's pretty simple really. If like me, you're a child avatar then don't be surprised if people ask you to leave their Adult or even Moderate sims. Don't argue, just politely apoligise if you didn't realise the rule was No Child Avatars allowed (some places advertise as PG but don't allow kids) and then leave. 

Similarly, if you're an adult avatar, don't be surprised if you got to PG sims and get asked to wear more approprioate clothing or take off certain objects. 

There is a time and place for everything and adult and kid activties don't mix.

Sounds like either trolls or competitors using the Lab's quite rightfully strict policy on those sort of activities to nuke businesses for their benefit. 

No genuine child avi would go to any of the formentioned places. We get enough grief as it is in moderate sims nevermind adult ones....

I'm the correct RL size for a 9 year old and I look like a toddler when standing next to the 7ft giants of SL. 

To be fair things have gotten better and there are iniatives to make homes, furniture and vehicles to the correct scale but progress is slow going.

I've had this happen too, also lost loads of no copy furniture and gachas etc so I feel for you. 

It's a hard lesson to learn, but never, never pay so far in advance. I only rent / pay tier directly to LL now.

Thank you, I have a large monitor in RL although not quite as large! 

The SL one is from a place called Dby. It's part of a whole set which is very nice if not a bit primy when all rezzed out.

I will have a mooch to see if I can find a better boat. The problem I have at the moment is my current build which I am very attached to doesn't leave much left (8 prims), and that's after linking everything I can. I generally buy expensive furniture too which looks good and has a low Li.

I'd just be happy with a house boat on a plot the size of the normal 1024 but with the prims of a 2048 plot. I always have the issue of not having enough prims. My dream would be to have my house boat decorated to the standard it currently is, perhaps a bit more, but with another 200 or so prims for a really nice yatch to be moored outside. Currently, it seems you can either have a nice yatch outside and an empty home or a really nice home but no boat. 

I could be wrong, and please, if anyone has figured out how to strike the balance, please let me know.

You're best paying tier directly to the Labs. It will be more expensive but a lot more reliable. 

For example, I only have my premium house boat. 

If you are going to rent, only pay a week at a time.

[How to report sex ag* play]

As someone who plays a child avatar I should hope that you would report the person involved. My avatar is very clearly a 9 year old boy. I do not want myself or any child avis associated with that kind of behaviour. It gives us all a bad name.....

[Airplanes learning to fly]

Hello all, 

I've always been interested in avation but have never known how to get involved. I'm looking for advice on where to start. Perhaps people could share their experiences? I suppose the problem I have is that I don't know what I don't know lol. 

How did you get involved with flying planes in SL? What do you find enjoyable about it? 

What planes are there? Which ones would you recommend? I think I'd like to find one that is realistic with all the checks and procedurs. 

What groups are there? Where do people fly to? I have all the questions!
