    Is it a violation of the TOS in any way to ask a resident for their RL ID to prove their age?

    Wouldn't really be any good way of proving anything anyways, if it was a underage person they could just pretty much take their mom or dad's ID. Heck even parents register for their teen without having any idea what Second life can contain, which I know from my own experience as my mom did register for me years ago.

    Asking for someone's ID I see personally as uncalled for regardless, if they are comfortable going on voice maybe that is a way to tell if their older or not, but that is a choice they should be able to make themselves.

    I always search for tags based on what I'm looking for and then check traffic or relevancy, even if a place got 10+ "anime" plastered all over the description won't make me go to it, because that doesn't tell me ***** about the place.

    I use firestorm so I can't really tell how the regular viewer works, but I can understand the concern if it affects where new people go, since they probably have no idea how anything works and will probably go to the first place listed. 

    Edit: There is a higher chance that I visit places if they actually have a picture of their place or a piece of it so I have some kind of idea on how that place looks as well and not some kind of picture they grabbed from google, especially when I explore it can be useful.

    Second life has never been a flawless platform, but I think most of us has grown to get used to the flaws that it has, it is a part of what makes Second life in my eyes.

    I can't come up with what they have done right that others haven't already mentioned but they created an amazing platform suited for all kinds of people, a platform where you can do anything and be anything, it is a platform that has grown and has been changed over the years, it's like watching a green plant bud turn into a flower, I love watching new additions to this platform and I always get surprised each time they do something new to it.

    The flaws that is are livable for me, however for new people to be interested in Second life some flaws need to get fixed.

    What they have done right is the possibilities that you have on here.

    If something gets support - something gets dropped, at least by people who value their sanity. Clothing creators are people too and rigging for 10+ different bodies (and even more if count chest options with petite/perky/flat options if it's a not just the bottom piece) is a nightmare.

    I see more and more mention it lately in the group notices or flickr posts where customers keep asking them "but why not for this body?" type of questions. And with Reborn being fairy popular I've already seen some dropping either Kupra or Freya (one store just added Freya to her usual mix of Maitreya+Petite and Legacy+Perky and 3 releases later switched to Reborn) to add Reborn size. There are still those who try to appeal to all and rig for as many bodies as they can, but even those say just tiring it is. For examples: Muse's latest two releases had a delay with some body sizes and she just said how tiring it has become and there's even more bodies on the way (I assume she meant Slink's one, but maybe there's something else coming soon), or AsteroidBox's creator who's put a blog post explaining why he can't rig for all those bodies anymore a few months ago.

    Yeah I'm not like that, if a clothing piece doesn't have a size for a body that I like then I'm fine with it.

    I switch between Legacy classic/perky, Kupra and Ebody, because I like something about each of them, but I won't get salty over a piece of clothing, because I do understand the work that goes trough having to rig for every single body out there, but I also can understand that people feel like it sucks whenever their bodies get dropped or doesn't get support at all, but people need to remember that creators are creating for a living on SL, so the time they spent on rigging for a body that doesn't sell well, won't sell well for them either so it is a waste of time no matter how much someone wanted that piece of clothing for their body.

    And whining about it to creators constantly makes them want to do it less, we get it you are really invested into this " random body " but don't forget that sometimes a store is just one person that will have to do every single thing themselves, and this person cannot please every single person on SL, it is literally impossible to do so.

    They are not some type of god that can hocus pocus a size out of thin air for every body out there.

    From the sounds of it, it sounded like it is a body that she cared a lot about and is probably for the most part in her taste, she cares a lot about optimization as well, I'm just assuming so, so it's not for everyone's taste buds and probably not as flexible, but her older bodies haven't really been flexible either in terms of body types so I honestly didn't expect this one to be either.

    It looks like a in-between of her physique and hourglass bodies, so if her older bodies were up to your taste then this one will probably be too, but obviously like with any other bodies, people will like some and dislike others, it is up to one's preference whenever they will like a body or not.

    I will probably not get this body as I already got a few and I prefer more flexible ones as I switch body types a lot, but I do hope for the people that do get this body that it will get just as much support as others.

    Come to think of it, yeah it makes sense. You get a result that you don't like so you change the test. 😅

    I find it funny how people think a test like that will tell how a person is 100%, it might give a slight idea but people are more complex than so.

    Getting harassed yet again by a person who used to be my friend.

    I don't know how to keep this one short, but some years back I had a friend or someone I thought was my friend, copybot some private textures, as well as taking my real life picture and made an offensive meme out of it to share it in a group I was in with an alt account, I became aware of this as they stupidly shared what they had done to me with a friend that we were both friends with. And of course my friend told me about it, letting me know what they had done to me.

    As you might have imagined, it hurt me really bad. Because I saw this person as a best friend, and I had never done anything to harm them.

    I removed her, but "forgave" her not so long after, giving her a second chance, but overtime I realized that it just felt wrong and uncomfortable so I removed her again after a while.

    This among some other stuff that was going on, made me paranoid and gave me trust issues which I struggle still with today.

    We were both in the anime community, but because of her I left it, but I now again recently wanted to go back to it so I went to hang out at some anime hangout spots, and I saw her again.

    On a new account that she made some years back ( which I also did because I didn't want to get recognized but she still figured out it was me not so long after I made my account ), I didn't do anything or say anything, I just left because to be honest she makes me feel really uncomfortable, I do and did hope that she changed her ways, but after getting a message today from someone I would assume is an alt account, a day after I saw her, I kind of honestly doubt it.

    My list is very short on who has been mean to me, or at least who has copybotted my textures before. But Since I saw her again recently and she probably saw me on the radar, I kind of think it is most likely her doing, however I no longer have any evidence on what she did in the past, it's been years ago. And I also can't prove it is her alt account either, but it is very likely.

    She's a typical person who acts like a sheep, but is in reality a wolf in sheeps clothes, she acts and appears to be very sweet and caring, but I learned that she really isn't all that, which is why I found it so confusing as I found out what she did to me.

    The alt account have anime groups in it's profile.

    And also my ex-friend got a flickr account which I blocked years ago, and I also got comments on only for friends and family, which is why I assume since shes blocked she can't tell whenever I have this on or off for the public, which for me just gives me a very thin evidence but enough for me to assume it is her, since this alt account thinks that they can leave comments, which they can't.

    So as you can imagine, I feel very lost. I don't know what to do, other than block this alt and report it, but she can continue harassing me on new ones.

    I just want to move on and enjoy my time in Second life, but it is kind of hard when I get these messages after moving on ages ago and trying to practice on going out in public places again, it's ripping up old wounds and it just hurts, when people want to emotionally harm you for no reason.

    Mind you I had barely talked to this person in a group in a normal manner, and they wanted to add me so I accepted, after that they didn't talk to me until one day.
