  1. This is just another Gacha with extra steps... it won't fly. Gacha's are done. Vendors will just have to sell things the regular way, either as singles or as fatpacks. -shrugs-
  2. Yeah.. when it comes to keywords at least, I really don't understand why they can't just remove the offending keywords instead of unlisting the entire thing. It's a big unnecessary headache tbh... just.. remove them and send us an email to let us know...
  3. Frankly, this was easy to see coming, but a month's warning isn't near enough. Not all creators watch the forums closely or even log in frequently. I've known Major creators to set up their releases months in advance so they can have time off. Not to mention all the events that are going to need to be postponed or retooled... expensive propositions given the cost of tier. Even for those creators who catch this change right away... reboxing everything as copy/no-trans and redoing ads and everything else is going to be time consuming. Some mesh makers do nothing but Gatcha... they're going to have to redo their whole shop.
  4. The biggest reason I can see to block a customer, is if they have broken your TOS. Full perm sellers are the most likely to have this issue. But any products with some sort of TOS may wish to do this.

    Why?

Gotta disagree there. People's tastes are varied and people are gunna wear what looks best to them, which isn't always gonna be the sl avi. But eliminating mesh bodies shouldn't be the point. Attracting and keeping new users should be and a good starting Avi can go a long way for that. You're right in that a good easy to use and perdy avi is critical. Experienced user will still gravitate to non-standard avis but you gotta keep people in Sl to get experienced in the first place.
  6. Iunno, I can understand the hesitation. It's not like an applier dev kit which is rather riskless to put out...rather the stuff in a Mesh Maker dev kit can actually be used to help rip a mesh. It's all right in there, weighting and all. If you're good at UV mapping, you just have to fix or undo anything they did, like punching holes into the mesh. The only thing that really protects them is brand loyalty and only putting the kit in the hands of folks they know are established.
