Just had the second project completed by Sean.
i am very happy:Sean delivered what I wanted in a fast timeframe and kept me updated. Satisfied customer again. Thanks Sean

for commission work, thankyou

I asked Sean to make something for me because I can’t design things.
I wanted a specific item that could be scripted later on.
i was very pleased with what Sean designed and will be commissioning him again

Hi, I was researching how to create and design things for SL.......and failing completely to understand any of it. As part of that process, I chanced across 3D model sites and I just wondered whether or not it might be simpler to buy models already created and for sale online.
It was because I couldn’t find those items on MP or in world, that led me to explore other options, detailed above.
Now I know it’s complicated!

Really really useful. Thank you all

Hey, thank you so much for the rapid reply. The link does worry me because if I buy from an online repository, how can I tell if I have copyright......,
much more complicated that I thought !

Hi,
i am after some help please?
is it legal to buy and upload 3D models from online sites, such as CG Trader please?
i found this on the SL community page:
- Have at least one compatible COLLADA (.dae) file on your computer. You can create your own by using most popular 3D software packages, or, if you have the appropriate rights, you can download models created by other 3D artists from online repositories. Try our sample contentpage for a free model if you're just getting started.
this suggests it is ok but what are the “appropriate rights” please?
thanks

So - I am a very satisfied customer.
What Sean made for me was exactly what I wanted.
Lots of communication so the product was refined to the specification I wanted.
I am very, very pleased and will be asking Sean to make some more stuff for me

Hey, thanks so much for your reply but I have no idea what lowballing is. I googled it and it appears to mean me offering low payment in the hope I can resell it and profit myself later on??
So, I am after a mesh uniform based on a picture I have seen but with some female orientated modifications. I am beginning to understand, I think, that creating clothing is far more complicated than some of us realise.
i don’t want to waste people’s time.
Is this just a case of me sending pictures to a designer and asking for mesh products please?
thankyou

Hi,
I am looking for someone who can provide a custom mesh uniform, plus weapons (non script) and military badges and medals.
can anyone offer any help please?
i suspect what I am asking is unrealistic
