  1. Have to agree with you, Marianne - it does confuse things a little, especially for new residents who struggle enough just trying to understand applier vs BOM, let alone would-be proprietary names.
  2. Ingame is fine - dont want to bore anyone to tears in here Im online
  3. Welcome back to SL, Nicole! Youre not a dead horse - things change so quickly and it can be very confusing trying to get caught up. Youre welcome to IM me inworld if you like - Id be happy to help. And LAQ can work with any body - the LAQ body appliers for Maitreya and Legacy are on the wall behind you to your right when you land in the LAQ store
  4. Oh my - how very 1984! So rather than putting that up on a website and/or sending a nc to that effect to all customers, they'd rather spy on conversations and then upbraid people for it? Not sure I find that an admirable trait in a business... Thank you for clarifying though.
  5. Is there some official site/link that verifies ''you must now refer to them as meshbody''? I don't think words like 'apparently' and 'uncool' are acceptable forms of legalese and I don't recall receiving communications from them demanding customers 'stop associating the new body with the old', or seeing a tiny TM sign next to the word 'meshbody' (although to be fair, perhaps it's there and I missed seeing it). I wasn't around when the old body was a thing so I don't have a problem not associating the new with the old, but for those who were - if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck and waddles like a duck, then unless they plan on hitting customers over the head with lawsuits, customers are always going to associate the old with the new, particularly if certain standards remain the same. It's just human nature.
  6. Grace and Frankie, Seasons 1- 6. For the umpteenth time. Only thing worth watching on Netflix Down Under atm.

  8. I honestly haven't the faintest idea but im sure someone here could tell us.
  9. A couple of really tiny spots when I'm up at 2500m but that's to be expected at that height. Haven't worn this body in a very long time - had forgotten how beautiful it is.
  10. @Cyanide Pixie Oooohhhhhh myyyyyyyyyyy.........!
  11. Thank you for that - will give it another try. I should have written destructions down for myself back when I wore Legacy all the time
  12. @Cyanide Pixie haha No, not taking it as pooping over the Maitreya party at all. I see the weirdness too. Really hope Maitreya comes out with a new body.. Meanwhile, after all this Legacy talk, I tried putting mine back on today but couldn't for the life of me figure it (and naturally there's absolutely no information anywhere on the nitty gritty of how to wear Legacy and do the BOM dance with it - 4 hands and 4 feet is just a lil too funky for my taste ) so I gave up in disgust and threw it back in a dark and dusty corner to be forgotten...until next time.
  13. @Cyanide Pixie I see what you mean but I'm disinclined to blame Maitreya entirely for that - it's mostly the way people make their shapes. Not everyone has a knack for proportions while others like their 'proportions' perfectly distorted. For example, I have a friend whose personal preference is hips as wide they can go with her butt all but dragging on the ground; I guess there's no accounting for taste, but I figure if it makes her happy, then more power to her.
  14. I agree. Love Maitreya too. I don't think there's any doubting it's a solid, reliable, trustworthy brand.
  15. Oh I see what you mean. I think that might be less to do with the deformers and more to do with the creator of the clothes. Even wearing the Maitreya body, there are often many clothes advertised for Maitreya that really don't fit around the shoulders, tummy, etc.
  16. I don't recall the deformers altering the appearance at all and I remember using them quite a bit, but to be honest, I just pulled Legacy out of the closet and dusted it off to try on again - and discovered I no longer remember how to wear the dang thing. What a complicated mess! Definitely not a wear-n-go like Maitreya for believers in the K.I.S.S. principle. Will proudly remain a no-fuss Maitreya 'clone' ♥
  17. For all we know, he/she might be working on one as we speak
  18. I'm seeing many clothes with Perky sizes included along with Legacy and Maitreya. You should be fine. Legacy is a beautiful body - its just too heavy on complexity for my liking.
  19. Bandwagons. Hate them. Refuse to join them. Oh wait...
  20. It certainly is, but the downside is that it's double the complexity of Maitreya, which is why I stopped wearing mine. But there's no denying it's a lovely piece of work.
  21. I seem to remember the names list in early 2006 being much larger than this. This one is a bit of a disappointment but then again, my expectations have become so low by now, they're practically flatlining.
  22. Perhaps try picking any option in the drop down menu and then leave a note to apologize if it's the wrong one before explaining the problem? Have had to do that once or twice myself when none of the options fit.
  23. Yes prices 'have to' increase because corporate mentality demands higher profit margins every year; it's how it's done that's a bit on the nose. At least spread the burden evenly.
