  1. I've put a lot of effort into my avi. The cost in RL money was more than I've paid for a console game! lol.

I too love anime and Japan, their culture and many other things.

I love movies that are my sort of thing, such as horror and comedy.

I love music as well of all kinds!

    Look for me in-game :)

Assassination contracts are not to be taken lightly, specially when it comes to kill time. ?

    Hahaha well said!

Also to the OP; I don't believe I've ever had a guy friend in SL but I'm down to hang out. We can do guy stuff, like go to a strip club :P

  3. Hi!

I spent many years of my life as a writer. I wrote countless landing pages for businesses all across the USA. I know how create a sense of attraction with words.

So..I figured it might be worth a shot to offer my services to anyone in SL who would use them. I could help describe your next product on the SL market, or write descriptions of your sim that could potentially draw in more people. My skills could be utilized in any situation where writing is necessary. You can hire me and pay me only what you think the service is worth, as I am not greedy. I just thought this might be a way to help me earn money.

If anyone is interested, reply here or message me inworld :) chrisinfamous resident

I agree. More people in SL need to lighten-up because I think they've lost the luster and so they become cynical and curmudgeons. This is a fun thread to read through. It gives me hope for SL-humanity!

Well said! Cynics are the worst sort of people. Always assuming this and that. Glad you have found hope in this thread!

since its all rp i assume there's no real feelings involved?

i guess the advantage to a rp relationship is that u can just rp the broken heart when it ends

rp hearts don't beat and they don't ache

RP usually omits any real feelings, besides the happiness and joy one gets from participating in it. While many people come to SL to satisfy their craving for real emotional support, I generally avoid that because of the complications that arise. Long distance relationships have never worked for me in the past.

Yeah that's what I was thinking too. It seems like RP time is slower than RL time, or at least that's been my experience!

When are you inworld, usually? Let's set up a time to chat?

I am almost always in world evenings between 6pm and 12am. I will  look for you in world tonight and we can go from there :)

Hi Chris! I'm also interested in the same type of thing. I have moderate RP experience, and am in Central time zone. How much time were you looking to devote to this? You can also add/message me IW if that's easier (NenzyCragin Resident).

I am on eastern time, so we are only 1 hour apart. I was looking to devote anywhere from 3-5 hours per night on this :)

  8. My name is Chris and I love to have fun! I'm not shy at all but I do get lonely playing SL by myself. I love to roleplay romantic relationships. I used to get feelings for people I met online but that always ended in depression and bad times. So I try to keep it strictly in-game.

I'm always down to chat and have a great conversation with a mature lady, but I'm not against hanging out with the guys either and throwing back a cold one!

  9. Hello! My name is Chris and I just came back to Second Life after some time away.

I enjoy roleplay very much and I am seeking a female RP partner to enjoy the game with.

The kind of roleplay I like is very much a romantic story where two character fall in love and share experiences together. I like a mix of real world situations as well as fantasy situations.

I would prefer if the story remained in Second Life and did not carry over to the real world. That being said, I am not looking for love or anything real. I just want to have fun with someone who wants the same thing :)

That being said, it does not matter to me what your real world situation is. Married with children? No problem. Just make sure it's not going to cause problems with your spouse!

I generally play in the evening and I am on eastern time. I am willing to work around timezones if necessary.

I have tons of roleplay experience in online games, so you can expect great things from me :)

If any lady is interested, let me know!

    Welcome to Second Life Chris.

I have to point out that those places that in your words, "discriminate based on SL account age" is due for the most part, to grievers that come and get booted and create another account to come back and continue their shenanigans. It's not against new participants in any way, but a necessary evil. Some places have a 30 day old rule, which I would bet you have encountered. When you hit the magic 31 days old, go back and you'll most likely get in. Dance clubs are particularly hit by those who like to cause grief.

It really isn't you, it's somebody else that caused this practice.

Again welcome. Good luck with your jams.

Oh! I did not even consider that possibility. That being said, I agree that it's a good practice to uphold to keep griefers out. Thanks for explaining that to me :)
