I just rely on security with a few mins timer and a polite warning these days, it used to be fully open with no active security, just passive, since I'm mainland road and waterside protected I left a hundred prim or so and made my own unofficial rez zone sign, figured it would be nice for people that crash their cars etc into houses all around me with the police tape since I know how much that sucks, specially if they have the send home thing enabled.
Anyhoo, why did I change it?
Because for every one person like the OP who would use it respectfully there are one thousand douches waiting to take advantage and I got tired of clearing up their crap on a daily basis.

I take it the only way to actually prevent constant IM's from a paedophile that makes new alts every few days is to enable "Only friends or groups can call or IM me."
Just, after reporting the last dozen+ names it certainly appears LL is incapable of doing anything about it.
So, is this the only option, feel bad having to ignore anyone I haven't met yet but not willing to put up with paedophile crap unlike LL.

A fair amount seem to be standing in mesh body/head shops, either afk or talking loudly/eating and/or screaming at offspring on mic by accident cause they either don't realise or don't care they have voice on as well as skype/discord whatever their other half is using.
As for things to do, I've searched a bit and it seems to come up quite often, things I've seen suggested and found for myself.
#1, Explore, pick a mainland area and go a wandering, this is what I'm doing mostly at the moment, got myself a nice low scripts bike and pick a direction. Planning to get a boat some time too for the same thing.
#2, Go to clubs to socialise and or dance (unfortunately this is most commonly suggested and gets painfully boring fast)
#3, Exactly the same as 2 but replace club with live singer/musician etc.
#4, Games like greedy/uno/bowling, fun to change things up and can be sociable but also not so much.
#5, Shop, if you want to spend ridiculous amounts of money on something that might vanish tomorrow its viable as an activity supposedly, if you're more like me and limit your virtual spending its really not as viable, sure there is cheep stuff and freebies but, y, for every good object or item you got 9,999 that are cheep or free for good reason.
#6, Fight zombies, with janky SL controls and lag... or not, buy a game designed for it instead.
#7, Build and/or script... This really isn't an activity for most personality types, I can enjoy it in moderation and do so out of necessity but I do not think most would and some will find it tit achingly monotonous for any length of time.
#8, Nope, think that's it aside from duplicates such as #2 & #3 being near identical.
But of course, it wouldn't be a what to do thread without the obligatory "The possibilities are endless." statement that does nothing to actually help but hey, I came up with 8 things, well, 6 things really.
Oh, editing to add, I've not found decent RP yet, its either sex sims or people taking 2 RL hours to get a single sentence out.

I really don't know where to ask this but, I've been looking at Kittycats, my friend has them and they are cute n all but... I'm the kitty in my household thank you very much so... Dogs, with the same sort of system?
Has anyone got recommendations for a decent system with variety like Kittycats but for dogs, with different breeds etc? I'm not really into the purse dog/rat hybrids, just want a regular fun family dog really like a boxer or something that has the same sort of functions, can stay at home or come with me if I attach (scripts permitting), can choose to age, feed 'n' breed or disable with a scooby snack addon, that sort of thing.
Kind of lost searching in world and on the market.

@Cara it's not really about Slink or Signature likings, OP has a Adam body.
Yes, I went off on a tangent, my original point was just that, despite it being advertised and sold as Gianni only it worked for his slink for the most part so may work in the same way for Adam or any others that support omega.

My friends husband went with Stray Dog recently for body/face when he got a Catwa Daniel head, I have to admit, he looks dammed good.
We were hanging out together at the time and he did have some issues first, it was just the signature Gianni they make it for, supposedly they are going to do the other bodies but last I heard next up is Belleza male and, who knows when they will come.
Now, he has slink but it worked with omega with his slink body, only issue was the feet looked really off with the slink feet, same issue I get on the Belleza female, I only demoed it but my friend unfortunately bought it without noticing and has the same issue where the toes look mutated.
If I remember right he just reverted the feet to his old skin and the ankles are close enough of a match till they do a real slink applier. He did demo the Gianni body for us which was really nice and he was going to get it till we noticed it has some serious gorilla arm weirdness going on so he's still stuck on slink for now. /meh

Catfishing... it has its own term?
You learn something new every day, it's not exactly a new or slight thing, most of my female friends... How should I word this... are... opaque and or... inventive... yes, that's a good way to say it when it comes to their RL online, hell, some of them aren't women in RL.
I keep it painfully simple, tell the truth and watch them run far far away cause, the wrong half of my thirties, married, with a 4yo, is a turn off.

Also, if selling it sure, its a nasty issue but, if someone uploads a nice painting image for personal use, most people don't really care.

Mmm, just occurred to me, any hud you use? its sounds more like you have huds hidden if you dont see any...
The command to toggle is Alt+Shift+H.
Try not to get it mixed up with Ctrl, Ctrl+Shift+H sends you to your home spot.

Once editing, if its totally off your screen, arrows included you can make it a little easier by holding down Ctrl and using your scroll wheel on the mouse to temporarily resize the hud working space, gives you a simple white box shape of "what you can see by default", up/down is shrink/grow, lets you zip it over using the arrows rather than the numbers. Don't worry, the resize vanishes soon as you stop editing huds.

I don't hate it, just put off because of people saying its overly complicated and unsupported. I wouldn't be surprised if its also just that its not new. Its like when I see people asking about male bodies in some groups, everyone is falling over themselves to recommend sig gia, it does look nice in every way to me but one... on every guy I've seen wearing it, weird monkey arms/shoulders but its new so it must be better. *shrugs* Only male body I've seen look "right" so far is slink.
Then again, I have a thing about body proportions looking "right", not that I don't mind variation, but, you know, within the bounds of some reality.

Its not even that I dislike it, I kinda do dislike it personally but I'm easy come, easy go with what people want in SL, I mean, I'm Neko which is definitely not everyone's cup of coco which I totally get, its more just my confusion of why such a strange alien shape is so wide spread.
Maybe I was harsh when I said it was putting me off clothing stores but, I cant lie, when I see them using a model that is so alien in shape and style, it does make me question their aesthetics when it comes to style and just turns me off their products completely.

I have a few of the NEKO'NEKO ears and tails in several colours, I wouldn't recommend them, I have to reset the scripts constantly after posing to keep them moving and its a known issue with them.
There seems to be very little choice right now, what I am trying to work out if this known issue is all bento ears and tails or just those ones. Their fox demo does the same thing, I was considering it due to the lack of options.

Sorry if asking was kind of weird, anyway, it did help me in one way, I made my boobs and butt a little smaller, I kept making them a little bigger to appeal but screw it, I want to be more like rl me.
Except for my height, I'd like it to be more realistic but anywhere I go with my real height people think I'm a kiddie.

If you don't want to or cant look, my summary would be.
#1 Super extra wide hips
#2 Abnormally large gap between thighs
#3 Generally a squashed appearance
I'm seeing it in clothes add's everywhere now, it used to be occasional but I feel like every store is using it now, honestly, its putting me off all the stores using it. I mean, I know its subjective, people may look at my day to day stuff and be like, she ugly but.... Why is this shape type everywhere?

Ah, there is a notecard of streams in it, its mod too so, if I comment all them out then add them back one at a time I should find the culprit, possibly just a defunct address?

Yea, not responded since he started asking me how it would make me feel if my father was abusing me when I was a child, not responded to any of his alts either, I didn't even report the original, was too weird, since then its just block/report as my morning routine.
