Well, you already claimed that inventory is already linked to the avatar in some form of a dif server. I do not think the link will be broken with those avatars by using this type of software. Letting them cross from the mainland or using third party server.

No, but again the point at least for doing that you would have a skybox free to yourself. However, as for a major sim, it probably could even be a whole lot cheaper now thinking about using this third-party software.

True, it would probably only big enough currently for a skybox for yourself. However, I think if SL could perhaps develop a way to host your own sim/server, by using the same technique these websites will help out. Just like they are with minecraft, I even found another video listing top 5 websites to make your own Sim/land. However, none of these currently have their own options for SL.

Well, I can't really think of a solution for that. At this time but, I figured it might be worth posting that video. For Minecraft people are just creating their "Own" sims by using their home router. For Free, no 100's of dollars involved.

Well here is how Minecraft creates Free servers, which in a way are sort of similar to SL sims.

You could probably still have all that, like if Discord & Fornite was able to pull off "Free" servers. I'm sure SL can think of something. Was just pointing out much has changed. There's a reason, why a lot of programs are going free and they're making even more cash because of it.

I'd agree to that back in the day when WoW was first created and Second Life. However, it's been over a decade. Where it's quite common to buy computers, with 8 Terabytes (TB) of memory even. Memory devices have completely changed and much larger in this generation. Although, once People start getting over 40k worth of items I notice its good to delete stuff because a large inventory can lag you. Like a full memory, the computer goes slower because of more programs to load.

I still don't understand how that's not updated.... A lot of programs have "Built-in" memory with no additional costs for everyone else's account. For Example, when playing WoW on private servers or chat logs even from Discord, all of the inventory/chat is compiled in its "Built-in" memory... Not considered as "Someone else paying for it."

Nope, that's honestly all I can see their doing. Then "Weekly" Maintenance all it seems to be is a mass sim restart... Like I haven't noticed any "Patch notes." Like I have been playing this game for a year now haven't noticed anything besides bento mesh for avatars. I guess there's Animesh to, but I'm still curious what are they honesting tweaking that's weekly. To make the cost so bloody high. The only excuse I got so far is Lindons probably don't want people to own a lot of sims then abandon it later on. Which does sound fair...

I usually get 50 FPS when going there... And I really doubt you're only one on the sim. I just went to stop by if things changed, but same old they're like 40+ on sim all just RPing. And you're missing the point of it, this issue happens at stores to make the experience going to stores like blueberry, Catwa, or other popular stores sort of a pain as well cause of the lag. It's really not the mesh, I honestly think all your doing is just paying Lindon labs to flip the switch for the grid to turn it off or on then charge you 300 a month for an overpriced electric bill for their service. However, if you want a homestead or something small that won't work to get "RP" its only good for a private spot that sometimes trolls can still even break into. It's not worth the money at its current price. Edit: It's most likely like that too because when someone logs into the "Region" or enters. It loads all the stuff inside their inventory onto the sim, but again there's no staff involved in this sim process. All software.

This is like saying making a free youtube account. I can pull in millions like the famous youtuber Pewidepie or other YouTubers. If I provided great content like he does. My experience of it is ruined by lag. Everytime a player or someone logs in, the chat lags cant move etc. It's like a robot is already running these "Sims." So is why I raise the question "Why are people paying 300 bucks for this?" With SL Combat, the experience is tied to the same deal in fact a bunch of Drama goes down when the raiders Log in and out because of this lag issue. Because this will create "Arrow lag."

Would make more sense selling those "Abandon" sims at a lower price, than re-creating more.

Couldn't SL create a system to Re-sell or Re-use the abandoned land? For example, when a sim closes they try to resell it to another renter. I get the point of this though. I'll take a look but I couldn't find anything. OR Animesh release date.

Sims prices are one of the MAJOR issues why I see not many players coming to this game. For example, just to pay for an Estate/Region it is 300 dollars a month. Which is absurd. You have communities from each sim TEAMING UP just to pay for this. Like what in the bloody hell? Whats sad is that it's probably been like this for the 15 years of SL's lifespan. Not many people are going to put up with that with today's generation. As in people won't pay for that they prefer "FREE" games. This is why people go and play other games, and why this game has so many trolls. With today's Technology, I do not believe these sims are even worth that much. For example, a Homestead is really worth 25-40 bucks, whereas an Estate/Region I wouldn't pay any more than 70 dollars for. If I'm talking about its true value in content. I'm not trying to be rude about it either, but I really don't think these laggy "Sims" are even worth that much. So I'm curious other than the fact its Lindons game, they can do what they want. Why are they doing this?

Prob because of sponsors. For example, when going Yasum designs or .Enfaint terrible they own the sim Koroba. Most makers only started doing Demos because apparently in the past there would be alot of "Fuss" over the product after purchasing. However, the reason why they charge 1L normally is because 1) They want the profit, and 2) Sometimes the demo is so good you don't even need to buy the original.

Well, its that or you can pay the full price of the product which is normally 600L+.

Yeah, I played and sell carries on MMO's long ago. But became to be too much work. I find it more profitable doing tournaments for bow or blow dart. I looked at those sims. Its just that sim doing "SOME" combat there isn't a real community for it. However, if you didn't like the video theres tons more on youtube... Hell I even posted some.
