Forum monthly theme-shoots w. virtual magazine compilation

of course we can, let's see how it goes with more open voting and if it doesn't work well or it is hard to find what's the winning theme, we can always narrow it. -
Forum monthly theme-shoots w. virtual magazine compilation
Kotelle replied to Orwar's topic in Your Avatar
In the meantime I am trying to figure out a schedule of posting pics and theme voting so that there's plenty of time and noone misses the fun. How about that: 1st day of the month - the theme is announced (for example April theme - Superheroes and Supervillains) between 1st and 20th day of the month we post pics according to the theme (we publish pics till April 20 in the thread that Orwar created) 21st to last day of the month we prepare next month magazine issue with current month theme and we also vote for next theme. It is mostly to have some frozen period to make sure all pictures are included, no one is missed and everything works as expected. So on May 1st the Superheroes and Supervillains is live and new theme is announced. would 3 weeks of posting pics and around 9 to 10 days of voting / preparing the final touches of the magazine be enough? -

I might help with organization and administration, like where to store the magazine copies, how to organize polls, gather ideas for themes, maybe create extra flick account with themed albums etc etc. I'd go for google docs first as it is just easy and free. -
SL Bunny Calendar Sara, this is absolutely great.

I've tested that what Whirly posted and it seems that the teleports work a little faster and I haven't been disconnected yet, even if I've performed like 30 jumps between different continents to randomly chosen sims. Yesterday, when I was teleported from one abandoned land to another, I usually was disconnected after couple of jumps, sometimes 3-4, sometimes more than 20. So it might be a workaround indeed. Let's see what happens later.

Biggest pet peeve thread (profiles)
Kotelle replied to ItHadToComeToThis's topic in General Discussion Forum
- everything written with “fancy font” - this is not fancy, believe me - “mess with me / my family and you will regret it” - yeah, right - profiles of people who are proud to be rude and arrogant, descriptions ended with “if you IM me, you play by my rules” - no, I don’t - too many quotes which really don’t say much about the person or are very cliche. It doesn’t really make people seem smarter / more mysterious or whatever the point is -
actually it was intended to look funny and awkwardly so no oopsies here

Thanks Zeta! But actually I was inspired by you and your alt-family

all the options are OK. As I said, I started to notice this couple of days ago and I didn't change any options at that time or just before. This is also not the issue of high altitude because it happens also at ground level. I am trying now the easiest solution to check it on a fresh copy of the body. Maybe it was just a glitch as Skell suggested.

so I managed to retrieve the password to one of my oldest alts, which I thought was deleted. Well it wasn't. And now it feels awkward.

The same is happening to me on Maitreya, it started couple of days ago. Only a part of tattoo is disappearing (on my belly), the other part (on the leg) is always visible. Matty, if anything from proposed solutions / workarounds works for you, please don't forget to mention it
