Same issue, see Gabriella's post over there:
Might be a case of corrupted assets data as she describes.

Some of your Alt's stuff might resurface in the Lost and Found directory. Funny enough if you still have links in your saved outfits pointing to the Lost&Found items they will still be linked.

Assets server hickup. Only thing you can do is walk over to Amazon and kick the server rack.
It will return to normal eventually.

Wether SL is a game or not is a matter of the definition of the word game. Repeating the "SL is not a game!" mantra will only drive away the casual users LL tries to win when entering the mobile market. It was a marketing ploy of early SecondLife. Aggressively insisting on it will only make us appear as a bunch of delusional weirdos.
Imagine running into someone on a Minecraft server telling you Minecraft was not a game. Would you take that person serious?

That's someone's rigged mesh, you can tell from the movement. The yellow texture specifically is a BOM placeholder.
But when worn -Â as it apparently seems to be -... how come BoM didn't kick in...
can it be a rezzed animeshed item that was supposed to be a body part?

I agree, enforcing unspoken rules causes user frustration.

They are free analyses of the situation from frequent users IMHO.
Oh they are? Did someone tell this to the people in charge?

One way to trigger lip animations is via voice triggered gestures. Did you look at your gestures?

People who buy games are rather intolerant of bugs. Read some game reviews. New games only get one chance to succeed, and if they make a bad first impression, they die an early death.
Still waiting for the early death CP2077 deserved... didn't happen. Sure it got a lot of flak, but for whatever reason it survived...

Having looked at the Bonnie Bots data before though, I've seen that many people are wearing older versions of Maitreya Lara. Many of those people might not update to Lara X, just because they never update their body and might not even know when there is an update.
What's the benefit in 5.x? More avatar complexity from hand and feet I never use?

@Patch Linden how do we file Abuse reports when we're not inworld?

No idea, maybe try a support ticket?

Of course there will be people changing to the new body. But looking back on my hoarded inventory of outfits items and all the shopping I did to get there makes me wonder wether I should go through that pain and effort all again just because someone tossed a free body at me - especially once they have already proven unreliable and for what I know could repeat the stunt and switch to from LaraX to LaraReloaded next year because it struck their fancy or maybe because sales tanked for some "mysterious" reasons. My tops, my bottoms, my jewellery, all are rigged for the old body, I cannot mix them with the new stuff.
But: whatever I do, whatever you do is completely irrelevant. How will the necessity to restart from scratch affect people's furture shopping? It needs a lot of people to change the market, predicting how large chunks of us will react to the change is the big question we do not have answers for.
tldr:
Some people will adopt the change, some people won't, we'll have to see if it hurts them.

Layered clothing won't appear on a mesh avatar unless you use BoM. So may I ask what icons the clothing you tried to use had in your inventory?
-
But an orb that sends me a notecard about repeated reentry attempts would be OK, right? Because I'd gladly add repeating offenders myself. And what about orbs that reduce the grace period until ejection for a short time after the first eject - would that be within the spirit of the covenant?

Unless your avatar is standing in a region that's landscaped and furnished with mesh objects that are made by amateurs.
As an amateur who knows how to do stuff I slightly feel offended now. 😿 Indeed it's the so called "professionals" who provide most of the shoddy content.

I wonder how many times SL body makers are going to crash face first into the same old design trap. If none of the old clothes fit, it'll take years for this body to take off, if it does at all.
They think it's different this time because it's free, I highly doubt that changes much. Only the future will tell.

Are the items mod? If yes: turn them temporary and create a new version of the furniture with those modified items in instead.

Both fibre and cable are advanced enough that package loss usually has other reasons than interference.

The last I had heard was, some time before Black Friday.. So any time from now until before then.
Long time to look for a new body - I wonder if the premature reveal already hurts outfits sales.

It is certainly no lack of skill. They make nice things indeed. But they don't consider enough that most people don't have almost unlimited LI allowance at their hands like they have on their testing sims. The heavy LI count makes it unusable in daily SL life for many of us.
It's not just looks. Too high LI often stems from too weak LOD modelling. I remember being told one Premium gift had no LOD modelling at all.

I'd be fine if they recycled older gifts every month if they didn't have anything new. People could get stuff they missed that way.Â
Aside the self timbering house there are not many I regret to have missed out on. It would not even have to be new exciting content, rejected LDPW submissions would be fine, you know, like plants they ended up deciding not to use and similar stuff.

I know this much about when putting them on.. it's best to be lower to the ground than 4,000 meters up, because mesh can do some strange things way up there at times..
That's why you always demo mesh bodies and "attachments" in 3000m skyboxes ... A L W A Y SÂ !
Once you do you will suddenly consider some popular brands an anathema.
