Is there any way to know the number of currently rezzed buckets? It makes a huge difference if you have to collect 800 out of 900 or 800 out of 3000 from the hundreds of Belli sims. And while we know it at least was possible to reach 800 but we don't even know if it is still possible for those who started recently.
I keep finding the same buckets again and again, constantly get ejected before I can reach some of them. Basically it's a huge source of frustration and begins to feel like a waste of time (at my current rate of ~15 new candy a day I see no way to finish it). Please @Linden Lab give us some info on about what we're facing, so we can know what we commit ourselfs to.

IMHO just broken communication, i found trying a second time, detaching/reattching HUD or worst case teleporting out and back again fixed all cases I encountered

I suspect it to do that, and if it does, setting it too high would lead to package loss.

That slider needs to be removed, it serves no purpose. It's certainly nothing to do with the downstream speed of texture/model downloads, it's just confusingly named.
I do agree though, there is some ludicrously old fashioned/incorrect 'advice' that still seems to infect the thinking of many involved in SL
I think that slider does some weird stuff and might affect how fast SL tosses stuff at you. Some stuff - not all of it. I'd really like to know what it regulates so I can set it right.

I honestly wonder how representative this subforum is of the general population of SL. Just like in most other aspects I'd guess the Forums are once again "Not representative at all!". I doubt the multipremium-account holders are common enough to matter in the big picture.

Improvements could be almost unnoticable they could be as small as one rogue node in a rigged mesh item. Speaks for the creator if they fix something almost no one noticed.

I doubt it will be used much, just look at how many creators use ALM ... with everybody having it on it will get a bit more widespread though.

Because it is. It is a security orb spamming the land's banlist. The sim server just tells you, you got banned in some parcel. I think it is no clan but a so called "networked security" device. Same phenomenon seems spreading across SL. You somehow made it onto that bot list and are now treated as one. This list seems bigger than 300 "offenders" and apparently the creator went the cheap way of continuously cycling through the list.
There's a good chance this particular device is slowing down the servers dramatically and LL might one day intervene with a banlist addition time limit just as they did with teleporthammers.

I think the system creates a new card for each friend in the default folder (it moves them to trash on unfriend). Maybe different viewers create them in different subdirectories.
Fun fact: you won't have your own card unless sent a copy by a friend.

I was helping a customer, who told me that the my security device allows another avatar in the level because it's in the white list. But after it's logged out and logs back in, it lands outside the parcel, and she thought that the LevelGuard was doing it. She TPed me over and I landed outside too, as did an alt of mine. This was on and around a platform way up in the sky.
It turned out that she had banlines turned on. They didn't prevent avatars from moving onto the platform, but they did prevent them from landing there. So banlines have an effect all the way up the parcel column.

The problem I see with the badge is it cannot really trigger positive reactions in others but it can very well trigger negative ones, like envy, hate and resentments. Most of my friends considered those going lifetime idiotic cash cows, if they are representative for most residents, then no, it is not a unicorn badge it's a stigma.
