Yes its fun for sure. I used a shape I made for my Lelutka head mixed and matched it worked well with Jamie's head and body. Laq , genus , classic layer makeup stuff works testing demos to see what fits.  For your own use you can edit senra skin like the old days so you add features from sliders from what great  that sl gives us. Many Classic stuff in inventory even works.

I was tempted to go to freebie galaxy too

  2. I bought the Eve Cristal mesh body a bit ago for an alt.  Recently starting messing with it and found Maitreya Lara clothes actually fit the body.  I used Dr Franks shape combiner to combine a Lelutka Raven head with the default shape for the Eve Cristal BOM body The head skin is IVES Rae skin sunkiss V2, the body skin is Velour x Venus (brownie/muscular).  the clothes I got here....

And not just Brox, it is Riax!k, Ray, Zen and Kiehtan. And lots of different skins, all 1 L each.

I have often bemoaned that men in SL has so little free and cheap things to outfit their avatar with. This helps so much! All newbies who land in SL and express unhappiness with their look should be told about these 1 L avatars and skins.

I have the brox on an alt and it's OK.  The alphas will drive you crazy.  It's all one piece,  head and body etc.  I tried to use the legacy classic free body on top of it sort of to use the head.  It almost looks good but the neck in the back has a space.   Too bad you can't move all that around up and down etc by grabbing with a mouse like you move icons around in windows.  Not sure if catch my drift.

"I saw an avatar playing blues guitar, his appearance customized to look like a tall old Black man. Clicking on the user’s account, I realized that in real life he was Charles Bristol, an 87-year-old bluesman"

    Awesome read thanks.

"Some 99 percent of new users would quit, overwhelmed and aggravated, most within their first hour in the virtual world. Those who stayed long enough to learn how to use the software—usually guided by a patient “oldie” community member—found themselves welcomed into an exclusive club."

That included me. But the seed was sown and I gave it a second try a year later. Lasted a couple of logins, second go. On my third attempt I got some help in a sandbox. They explained the box on my hand that I had expected to be shoes on my feet needed rezzing to the floor and unpacking to inv. Never looked back since.

I walked around with the box in my hand too until someone  told me how it works.  She gave me a really nice skin and shape

@everyone Coming Soon: an entirely new version, a next generation of Lara!
When we created the Lara Mesh Body over 8 years ago, she was ground breaking and soon became the most popular body on the second life grid. Originally it had been our goal to stay close to the default Second Life avatar (Ruth), so that everyone could still enjoy their sl wardrobe with their Lara body. In recent years that restriction has been lifted more and more. Due to the effort of thousands of content creators in second life, who make their mesh in various mesh body sizes, a mesh body can now look any way we want it to.
Recently we’ve received a lot of requests for a Lara mesh body update. When we asked people what it was they were hoping to see in an update, most people replied they were hoping to see a more curvy or more detailed Lara with better weights. The request for smoother weights originates from creators who have expressed the difficulty they experience when creating content for the Lara mesh body (some of them therefore even decided to drop Lara sizes). As much as we wanted to improve the weights issues, doing so would always result in the breaking of content made for Lara previously.
The solution we eventually came up with is to improve Lara, with smoother weights and more detailed mesh. And to give this next generation Lara X as an extra in our next update. An extra, not a replacement. So that no-one will lose anything and everyone will only gain! This means that every Lara mesh body owner or buyer will receive Lara X for free and also still the original Lara body, to wear with existing Lara wardrobes. You can switch between them effortlessly if you wish so.
