    Hangars Liquides is closing (again)!!!

    In 2019 the city encountered similar problems and reached its financial goal to keep it alive. At the time and I set up a post in this forum which got a lot of suggestions and questions. In order to avoid answering them all again I link it here, you can consider it as a FAQ:

    Hangars has been part of my SL experience for the last 5 almost 6 years, I couldn't imagine second life without Hangars, I hope that things will get better and I will continue to support Djehan's work as much as I can. 💖💖💖

    I've witnessed with my own eyes people treat me differently based on the color of my skin/avatar. Everyone on sl seems to want to be blissfully ignorant and stick their heads in the sand when it comes to racism. And I've also witnessed/experienced people blackfishing, and copying black avatars and roleplaying as black people and when you call them on it their excuse is "oh it's just a game." It's not a game when people - who are not black - wear darker skins/roleplay being black/using the n word and use our culture as a costume. But you know.... nobody wants to have that conversation.  🙃

    Lots of people use the official viewer, more so than I realised. If you tend to use the same software all the time it is easy to miss the differences and the implications of that. Not meant as criticism. It is also really easy to miss or forget Belli covenant details.

    I used the sl viewer briefly (less than a minute), tried dragon viewer, and mainly use firestorm. I was just wondering how many people used the OV. That's why I mentioned derendering, which is why I like FS.

    I've been a renter/supporter of Hangars for about two years. When I first found out about the place I fell in love with it, and I'd hate to see a 12 year old sim just disappear. Djehan built that place from scratch, it doesn't matter if you don't like cyberpunk, or you've never heard of it, and the rentals alone are not enough to sustain the place to pay tier. So maybe instead of going back and forth about the rules and trivial irrelevant comments that have nothing to do with the subject at hand, go see for yourself. And a thank you to those who are doing what they can to help.
