When you buy mainland, you do not have to pay a weekly tier? It is just a one off fee? -

I did the #Pryce body language challenge and loved it because it was out of my comfort zone and learned a few things from doing it.- 97 replies

Secondlife 15th anniversary and CEO's letter
Prisqua Newall replied to Jeny Howlett's topic in General Discussion Forum
I've never heard of SLnamewatch nor did I know about a third party registration portal, though now I wish I had known and probably would have secured a few surnames too.- 276 replies

Secondlife 15th anniversary and CEO's letter
Prisqua Newall replied to Jeny Howlett's topic in General Discussion Forum
When I see someone with a last name, I can vaguely guess their age, not that an older avatar is better. Two people I follow on Flickr have the last name Newall and I have to admit, I mainly started following them because I thought it was cool to be associated with people who have the same last names as me. So I'd rather they don't allow existing last names to be used again. Another idea would to add an old last name after your new last name like people who want to keep their two names when they get married? Also, didn't they used to have some limited last names such as Gossipgirl?- 276 replies

Secondlife 15th anniversary and CEO's letter

One thing I'd like to see in the marketplace is the date of the listing. I always search by newest items first and sometimes the reviews help with guessing how old the item is. I'm also curious to what the new LL houses will look like though I rarely go to the ones I have and I still have not figured out if it is better and how to use the 1024 sqm tier.- 276 replies

I have the bullet journal and you can see it in my pic, on the table... lol I always look through Seraphim before I go anywhere, and same thing, now I think twice before rushing and buying. Until I go through Flickr... The pics on Seraphim are so not flattering sometimes and then you see a pic on a Flickr and wonder how you have missed this and that. And yes, not much stuff with a wow factor lately so that's awesome Because I lived in such a small place I didn't need much furniture. Now that's a different story but I'm in no hurry. I use what I have until I'll see something better.

The Illuminati event opposite Ultra. I was only interested in one thing that I kept seeing on Flickr, but I'm looking forward to see what it will bring out in the future. When I came back, I said I would not rent again. Then a visit to Baja and I was sold: it was cheap and cute. I had something like 80 prims, so of course after a while, I wanted more... but more is never enough I feel, or is it what they call "addiction"? lol

I left SL before mesh. I came back over a year ago now and deleted everything besides mementos, so my inventory was pretty much clean... My received folder only had one item, now it has over 300, and don't what they are... lol I don't remember shopping that much before mesh, except for hair. Yeah, those damn stupid events! Have you seen the new one for furniture? Now that I have a mansion to furnish... The never ending story...

I delete a few folders each time I log in to catch up, but then a new event opens, then another one.... I can't keep up. I need to stop shopping!

Today I'm wearing some clothes from Lybra. I can't decide on the shoes though. I'm still looking for a pair of boots I bought months ago but can't remember what brand... my inventory is kind of a mess. I've been trying to keep up with my shopping but... it's a fail

I am a writer and competing in NanoWriMo this month (write a 50000 words novel in a month) and I'm going for a story that mixes RL and SL. I need inspiration to create in depths characters and why we are here (lots of people still don't underatand SL). I want to hear crazy stories about married people or stalkers. And I guess it's a great way to meet new friends. Come and meet in Little Italy :)

What was the reason for removing last names anyway?
