  1. I've been a Petite X 100% enthusiast since its launch. Naturally, I tend to lag in unpacking items, but so far, I've gathered a diverse collection, visible here: https://gyazo.com/3244a7aa0f72693dcc2ddd1bd1345fb6. My wardrobe ranges from sexy outfits for when my partner is around, to more conservative attire. It took some time, but now, there are numerous creators designing clothes for Petite X. So, I am content with using Petite X while my Legacy Perky collects dust.

  2. I'm very happy with my Petite X and have enough clothing that I haven't needed to switch back to 5.3. I don't see myself switching back and forth, even though I could easily do that. It's been nice to organize clothing in an X folder, and I'm planning on deleting my Petite stuff. Since I've been using my Wardrobe, it would be easy to delete just that one folder. As for anything else I haven't bothered to enter in My Wardrobe, I have no idea what that is. I'm down to 88,000 items, and half of it I have no idea what they are. I have all the no copy items in one folder. Some of the stuff I remember buying because I saw them on sale. So to me, it's a no-brainer to delete most of my inventory and start fresh. Most of the time, I'll be able to get a redelivery.

I've been using Maitreya Lara since like 2015 and my whole inventory organization plus CTS Wardrobe is centered around it, so I'm a little nervous about Lara X. I'm going to need to redefine some tagging and lose some old items that I love. However, I'm also kind of excited because this will be a new journey that I've wanted to try but been unwilling to invest in a new body. Very curious to see the reception Lara X gets!

Same. I am using TAGs for Petite and Perky and deleted anything about Lara original (well there might still be a few remnants) when I switched to Petite. I will be adding a new TAG for Lara X Petite so that when I switch bodies I know which clothes are for which body when it is specific to Lara X.

Maybe stalk some photographer you like on Flickr and ask them if they would take your wedding pics ? I really honestly have no clue if there are "real" wedding photographers in SL but I can imagine there are x3 I mean there are things like modeling agencies etc inworld so I bet you maybe could use search for one?

I am useless with the wedding places since I only ever partnered my RL husband in SL so we never did big SL wedding...RL was expensive enough 😂 but I visited some SL weddings back then and so I know there are a lot of wedding venues out there.

Depends on how much time you guys have left until "the" date I bet you can find a nice place by TP ing around to those venues and have a look at them 😊

I did find the place but it is an automatic celebrant, I was hoping for something a bit more personal. Not much time at all ... January 6/7 but I know what you mean about being expensive in RL. My daughter got married last year.... I was shocked... her friends get loans to get married...

So I have decided to start doing all the things that have scared me in SL...things like actually talking to people, being sociable (still failing at that one though), but the biggest was participating in an art exhibit.  I have always enjoyed taking pictures and how I can express myself through the media that is available to us in Second Life, but I have never felt "good enough" to call myself an "artist" or to put myself out there in an exhibit.

But I did it and it opens tomorrow.

Me too I would like to check it out pretty please.

Ready for the next part of my ongoing life? Of course I wouldn't forget to update y'all! 🙂

I'm in a bad place. Because my virtual flight from Windhoek to Amsterdam was delayed, I missed my connection to New York JFK and had to sleep in the terminal. While kicking time in Amsterdam, I also decided to call my employer to-be and blew the job. She had continuously ignored important calls for days and kept ordering me in for online meetings on my vacation, which she then skipped without a notice.

    photo1.thumb.png.cbc049e554a1386b5d6eaafcce77ff5c.png

When I finally arived in New York City in the early morning, believe it or not, my luggage was missing. Completely frustrated of the events of the past few days and exhausted from the trip home, I took the next cab to my new apartment on the Upper East Side.
As I got home I dropped my filthy clothes, took a quick shower and instantly fell asleep on my new bed. Because of the jetlag, I slept all day long, until early evening. That's when the flashbacks started. I kept thinking of the trip to Namibia with its terrible ending, the exhausting journey home and, of course, Vanessa. I couldn't think of anything else but Vanessa.

In hopes of distracting myself, I started binge-watching old episodes of "King of Queens" while having one Whiskey after another. To be honest, I doze off more than I saw anything of the famous TV Show. I started questioning myself and whether the decision to return to SL had really been the right choice. Was that all worth it? Two weeks have gone by since I returned to SL and here I am again - right where I started.

Should I leave SL? Stay? What should be my next adventure in SL? Perhaps you have suggestions! Let me know! 🙂

I loved it. Defo continue with more stories.

I was exploring and found the Flamingo Club in Cycnia. An owner of the region offered to show me around. In the tour I got to see the water falls and the stream. I was impressed by how real the water looked. The still photo doesn't do it justice. Water ripples, that you can't see here, were tailored to shapes of the stream.

That's the Skye Studio stuff for you. Very realistic. I have a few waterfalls on my sim if you want to visit http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Newall Sands/119/209/21
