Not sure if ya deserve it mate but you're certainly right about one thing; LL doesn't get involved with these kinds of things, if you really wanted to go ahead and do anything about it I'm afraid you'd probably have to go legal and get the info from them that way... Note that the files are Maya native (.MA), obviously those using Maya would get the best result otherwise you've got some fun with importing to blender. Good luck!

I'd suggest you find someone who specifically does mocap 'professionally' on things like Fiver and whatnot, you'd be hard pressed to find anyone here for that kind of work. Good luck!

Thing is, PS2 was made specifically with the goal of hosting so many players on one session - I'm no programmer but I believe SL is a 15 year old jenga tower of code at this point.

They may indeed be one way of doing things, there's a lot of reasons, but the main one typically is the whole gifting thing and not having to go through the 0L$ buy screen which advertises a bunch of other products for you to scroll past... I guess 1L can add up eventually, but I'm not sure I'd consider it a problem.

I like to stay open with suggestions but obviously every artist has a direction with their product and I've found most suggestions fall into the 'meh' category due to this. That's not to say these suggestions aren't thought about in future products though. On the flip side, I typically provide the resources people need to properly customise their product if they do so wish in the form of textures, these are hosted on dropbox and serve to provide a sense of DIY. Update support is also dropped for products after a few months (unless there's a major flaw I didn't foresee) so I can focus elsewhere.

'It's just a small choker' - yes, we'll look beyond the years and personal costs an artist has put into the skill behind being able to do such a thing and just shrug and smile. Hundreds and hundreds of lindens might sound like a lot, but in reality a few thousand lindens isn't really all that much. You should define an actual price point rather than telling us what you won't pay - otherwise the marketplace has plenty for you to choose from. No matter how small your project is, expect to pay at minimum an hours worth of their time.

That effect is due to ALM, it's a projected light texture on a shiny surface, basically. The old invisi prim is what died to ALM.
