River, you are right. I have been flying for over three years. The situation is so bad I do not even log in anymore. Last week I i gave it a try to see if they have done something about it, but flying from SNO to Hollywood in the Bingo Strait, I received a message when crossing the same sims I have crossed countless times something like " Your xxxx(plane) is not allowed on the xxxxx region/sim and has been returned by Governor Linden" - then I realised the magnitude of the problem. I am certain the LL servers are the problem - and my perception is that they have not kept abreast of the impact of mesh and more sophisticated items in SL - and that there is a general perception of lack of server capacity - maybe LL can elaborate more. I find the lag horrible. I have never seen it this bad either. I hope they find a fix. Until then - like most members of my old flying club, we will not return to SL. 😞
