  1. Agreed. I find that it detracts from the whole experience.
  2. I suspect that quite a few males on SL would want to keep their hands free for what they are doing too, but I don't think that it would be driving or gaming.
  3. - accidentally walked off the edge of a sim and disappeared, last seen falling into a seemingly bottomless pit.
  4. Trying on an outfit that I got about 15 years ago......
  5. Well, I found it, and the outfit is called Tulip, as are the jacket, shirt and slacks, but the flower pattern doesn't look much like a tulip unless you use your imagination. Also, the lace pattern at the foot of the legs wasn't as obvious as I recall it being. Nevertheless, I still like it. I probably got it around 2007 or 2008, and I haven't worn it for a decade at least. As with a lot of old outfits on mesh bodies, you need to wear BOM add-on parts unless you want it to look like your nipples are standing to attention. Here it is:
  6. I was just at the local Bunnings a couple of hours ago and the first thing I noticed when I drove into the undercover car park was the smell of sausages. I couldn't help myself. I had a sausage sandwich with fried onion and tomato sauce.......
  7. I threw out most of my old stuff, but I'll have a look through my inventory and see if there is any of it left. When I started in SL, one of my favourite outfits consisted of black slacks and a white top, both decorated with lace and embroidered tulips (well, they were supposed to be embroidered, but they looked like they were painted on). I might still have it........
  8. I'm Scottish too, but I live in Australia, so I'm probably online when you're asleep and you're probably online when I'm asleep.
  9. The ones that annoy me the most are the ones that want to do more than socialise with me. There's no shortage of them.........
  10. It may not help you much in working out where they were geographically though as in most cases there are quite a lot of countries sharing the same time zone. For instance, when it's 9.45am in Chicago, it's also 9.45am in Winnipeg, Bogota, Lima and Kingston, among others.
  11. Rather than an opportunity to find an RL partner, I see SL as a way to temporarily escape from RL. One of the best things about it is that it is a way of talking to people all over the world, not just those who live near you. I would be a bit concerned if SL were to develop in the way suggested. I am married in RL but single in SL and I'm not looking for any sort of RL relationship out of SL at all. I like to keep my SL and my RL separate.
  12. If I get a TP request from someone I either don't know or don't know well, I will first do a quick search to see what sort of place it is. If it's a sex related sim, I'll ignore the request altogether. If it is a private residence I'll politely say no - well, you wouldn't go home with a man you had never seen before in RL, would you? Anything else and I'll probably keep the conversation going for a while and try and judge what sort of person I'm talking to.
